+ When covering a marathon or race it's invaluable - try holding your arm bent up for 2 hours taking portrait format shots. It's also a bonus to have two batteries on the go at once, especially if you're shooting a long event etc.
- Absolutely none - if you're reading this then you're considering buying one, right? Just do it, you won't regret it.
