+ Overall well styled and easy to operate. Todate It has functioned as required as an all round general copier.

- Film negative copying can sometimes be a bit hit and miss, with numerous scans producing varying results. It was noted that some older photo's required a substantial amount of digital editing to achieve a reasonable result which I feel is beyond the average or more persistant individual.
I would have been preferable if the manufacturer had installed a dedicated 'FILM' slide/negative copier in the unit.

+ Extremely pleased with the results after scanning slides and negatives some of which were taken over 30 years ago. I found it very easy to use and was scanning within a very short time. I have put a lot of the scanned slides etc on a web site with a lot of positive feedback. Would recommend it.

- I have a selection of C120 negatives from a Kodak instamatic. There is no provision to scan these which was rather disappointing.

- Firewire would have been helpful. I had problems with OmniPage but ReadIris 11 works fine.

+ It is very sturdy and allows our company to scan card mounted microfilms and larger format transparancies than other products of a similar price and certainly at a fraction of the price of so-called "industrial" products.
