- Too heavy for wife to use. Batteries go flat in no time.

Product does what it is supposed to. I own other binoculars and telescopes but now use only the Canon for bird watching. It also came into its own on a whale watching excursion.

+ I looked at evry make under the sun up to a price range of £2500 but bad the decision "No matter how good the optically quality is, if you can't hold them still it is wasted" With the canon the IS works so well it amazed me. you just have to give it a moment (2 seconds)to work and the picture is so still you will forget you are using x 15 mag

- The eye rubbers are far too hard, it is such a shame canon did not use softer rubber. The units did not come with bottom lens covers. @ the price paid i would have expected them as standard
