Canon Pixma iX4000

+ Seperate prinhead. Print quality good on plain card at standard printing. In and out trays fold up when not in use which must help keep out dust.

- Some photos print darker than screen resolution but haven't yet tried tweaking the settings.

If this lasts as long as my Canon S4500 I'll be well satisfied.

An excellent product for the price.

+ Good print quality. Acceptable speed - if we had wanted fast printing we would have bought the IX5000! x64 support - unlike our previous HP printer.

- It's HUGE!

+ does a3 prints as it says on the tin. doesn't seem to have a problem handling paper or envelopes which i have had before with large format printers.

- the print quality is not good. they should have used their 5 ink system, not the 4 ink system

+ Obviously the A3+ size capability. Not too many ink cartidges to think about and picture quality very good. I use it, in the main, for photograph reproduction.

- In my limited work area, size of the printer has caused a bit of a problem but under most circumstances users would be able to find locating the machine no problem.
