+ Image Stabilisation is really impressive. All binoc's should be made this way. Good clear optics. No real bad points.

- I wish they had a threaded mount for those times when you don't actually want to handhold.

+ As my hands are arthritic and therefore unsteady, it is wonderful having a device that can stablize the image.

+ size almost pocket size,value for money.Cannon optics , like cameras are good

+ The quality of the image stabilisation enables this product to exceed the performance of Leicas and other models costing five times the price

- Heavier than non stabilised.
The motor does not last - perhaps just 2 to 3 years of constant use.

+ The image stabilising is very good - stops much of the shakes - I have no idea how it works but it's very clever.
