+ Excellent entry level DSLR at a very good price. Usual CANON standard - well built, wiith all features
one would expect.

- In full AUTO mode the pop-up flash pops up every time !

+ 1. Easy to use. 2 picture quality is excellent. 3 zoom facility is excellent. overall the camera gives excellent value for money I would recomend it to anyone wishing to buy a digital camera.

+ The image stabilizer worked a treat, all images came out clear even those on a moving subject.

- It could do with spot focus.

+ It Is very easy to use and is of a make that you know means good quality. Comes with very clear instructions and takes very good quailty pic's.

- Having never used a SLR camera before I have had to attend a course to learn how to get the best use not just on full automatic mode.

- Feels a bit plasticy. Nothing else.

+ Easy to use, its a good beginers camera. Lightweight.

- You can't view the shot on the screen as you take it, you must use the view finder. The screen is quite small.

+ Well made comfortable to hold camera. Good viewfinder. Easy to use in full auto mode. Fast responsive shutter release. Range of other shooting modes for the more experienced & creative photographer. Excellent quality images. Built in flash works well. Long battery life. Overall this is a good entry level Digital SLR camera.

- Not impressed with the supplied lens cap which could easily become lost as it it cannot be attached to camera, other than that I have found no bad points.

+ Excellant Camera , I was going to buy the 450D but im glad i didnt , the price differance is a lot and the picture quality of this camera is fantastic , i have had a couple of photos blown up to A3 size and the quality remains the same . I have always used a SLR and would recomend this to anyone.

+ The camera is wonderful - well built, easy to use with pretty much all the features I need for astrophotography.

- I use it for astrophotography, so one thing it could use is a setting for night vision on the LCD - its a bit too bright even on the lowest brightness setting.

+ Great for DSLR beginners like myself. Easy to use menus, straightforward options. Auto-focus and optional Live View modes really aid "point and shoot" snaps, as well as the manual options for more calculated shots.

- Perhaps a little bit "plasticky"? I couldn't find any real problems at all with this camera!

+ 1. Lens 2. Quality of the photos 3. Changing the level of brightness of the flash is very handy

- 1. Automatic focus takes too long 2. Automatic flash comes on too often. There is plenty of light but it normally still comes on

+ Fantastic, striaghtforward camera with all the buttons in the right place for ease of use, especially as this is all relatively new to me. The photo techniques that are waiting to be explored make every taking picture exciting. I'm sorry i just don't have more time to experiment with all the features! The camera can be easily used by anyone in fully automatic mode with amazing results for pointing and shooting. Then, the presets are there for those wanting to go that bit further and the custom settings allow you to do most things an amateur would want. Battery life has lasted surprisingly long so far.

- The click of the camera is rather loud. Not so good for those interested in sneaking up on wildlife to take candid shots. Though I'm sure most other cameras have a resounding click also. No other bad points to report as yet.

+ Excellent picture quality. I had a great day out at Westonbirt Arboretum and took over 150 pictures from Landscapes to macro close ups all the pictures were excellent. It was great to be able to just point and shoot or take time to compose the picture properly This is my fourth digital camera but the first SLR digital. The best yet.

- I am still trying to come to terms with all the settings. Your company was certainly the best value by far of all the ones I looked at on the net, but the camera was still a little pricey for a poor pensioner, but I deserved a treat. I didn't tell the wife how much it cost !

- Printing, the CD that came with the camera is not easy to follow. The prints are good but as yet I have been unable to size my prints and they all come out at A4 size.
