+ I love the slow cooker in the main oven. The turkey was done lovely in the slow cooker overnight very please with this. Also the way I can turn the grill down to a low light which I was not able to do with my old cooker.

- Large Oven door will not stay put when you are trying to look at things in the oven. In fact it can be quite dangerous as it swung back on my leg and burnt it!!
Because of safety flame device feature it took a while to get the burners to say on.

+ Hob easy to clean. The separate pan supports facilitate easy access when spills occur.

- The diagram on facia indicating burner position is under the knobs rather than above, neccesscitating bending to see which is right/left/back/front. No storage section for baking utensils.

+ gas safety cut out is excellent should be fitted on all gas cookers!

+ Heats up quickly - grill cooks very evenly and is not too fierce - fan keeps controls cool whilst using grill or top oven.
Safety aspect of gas hob is excellent

- Only bad point so far is that you have to lean down to see which knob controls which gas ring.

- As I bake a lot cookies/bread etc. The only bad thing is that you cannot turn the oven light on without turning the oven itself on - only bad thing!

- difficult to see whats cooking on the top shelf of the bottom oven, have to get the grill pan in just the right position for even grilling. the pictures of which burner you are using would be better at the top of the knob rather than underneath.

+ It feels sturdy compared to other cookers of the same price that I looked at. It had all the features I wanted. I think it's good value for money.

- I don't like the grill pan handle, it's uncomfortable to hold. It gets very hot if you are standing in front of the cooker when the top oven is on because it vents out the front.

- Seems to produce a lot of condensation which I have never noticed beforre in any of my previous gas cookers. Water runs down the glass front and onto the floor.

+ Good looking cooker, spacious, easy to use and easy to keep clean. I like the glass lid to close over the cooker when not in use. It has a double oven and I use the small top oven often, cool air blows out over the knobs to save them from getting too hot when the top oven is in use. The front of the oven does not get too hot when the oven is on. The glass in the doors lift out for easy cleaning but are fitted in really firm which is good. The light is on in the oven while in use-top oven also so you can see your food cooking.
I took a long time choosing this cooker, I had read reviews about many different cookers and noted that people were concerned about the front of the oven getting too hot when in use and being frightened of children burning themselves on the oven door and being able to turn on the hob by themselves-this was a major concern for me but with all the safety features of this cooker it makes it quite child friendly.
I managed to get this cooker in the sale and I am over the moon with it - it's brilliant.

- It overcooks my cakes and scones so I have to try using a lower temperature than the recipe.

+ This is a smart looking and very efficient appliance. It is easy to use and the timer option is great.

- The only single criticism is that it doesn't come with the option of having cast-iron pan supports, which I would have preferred. However, the enamel ones are better than the average enamel pan supports you find on other cookers.

+ An excellent product giving me all that I need in a cooker. Both ovens have a light and are large enough to cook a family meal in. Its great having seperate pan holders on the hob. Would definitely recommend this cooker to anyone looking for a replacement

- Poor grille pan compared to other current range, top gas ring cover plates are very thin and lack width not robust as our older Cannon therfore can topple with some small saucepans. overhaul it is still a good cooker

+ Looks good, timer function to set oven to come on whilst out, easy to keep clean, double oven comes in very handy, very well built, gas safety device for piece of mind. Having previously used a single electric fan oven that broke down too many times over the last 6 years i'm hoping this cooker will be trouble free & with 5 years parts guarantee i have some piece of mind.

- Only gripe is the indicators for the hobs & ovens are under the knobs so difficult to see although after 2 days you soon learn which knob controls what...otherwise its a great cooker.

- it sometimes take a while to light the jets and the grill guard keeps falling off which is very annoying

- burner stands not secure - they move about and are noisy

- Design of grill pan handle dangerous to use, detaches itselfs when in use. Whoever tested this handle realy needs to do a design and health and safety course. Having owned the previos model ,with this was a more cumbersome handle but stayed with the pan.

+ Just a 'normal' cooker which is roughly the same as all others so not possible to identify 'good' points. Bought due to good reputation of AEG.

- After service is appalling! Blowing sound coming from the gas rings. Telephoned the helpline who arranged for an engineer to visit. He said he would send a new set of burners which have not arrived since his visit on the 5th October - some five weeks ago! The burners now 'self-extinguish' so is extremely dangerous and means someone needs to be in attendance whilst the gas rings are in use!

- The dials could do with the burner display above then instead of below, I have to stand back to see which is which. I have written LB & RB with a felt tip above left back and right back dials for easy reference. I don't like the shelves not moving when the cooker is hot, if I need to remove something from the back of the oven it is far safer to pull the shelf out than put my arms in to pull something forward, this is my third cooker and the shelves have always moved when hot, but I have been told this is what I must put up with!

+ 1. The two glass oven doors which can be removed for cleaning. 2. Four burner protectors, easy to remove and handle for cleaning; 3.shelves easy to remove. Too new to comment further.

- Not easy to remove the silver grilling plates. Only able to feel ones way if bending is difficult.

+ great gas control, you can get god strong flames or a gentle simmer.
Much easier to clean than my old one, no gaps and folds in the metal, solid, smooth surfaces.

- I would have liked another oven shelf. My old Cannon had 3 and that extra one was brill.
I find the handle on the grill pan dodgy. I am not confident that it will do it's job when fully loaded.
The pan supports are alittle more'flimsey' than the ones on my old Cannon.

+ Being gas, it's very controllable and the cooker controls themselves are clearly marked and easy to use. Safety features are reassuring. Overall design is attractive and build quality is impressive.

- Difficult to see if ovens are cleaned properly because no independent manual operation of oven lights is possible. Cast iron pot rests should be an option as standard ones look a bit flimsy.
In the 21st century it's a bit hard to believe that there is no indication when the ovens reach their set temperature.

+ this cooker is very easy to understand, i didn't even look at the book, just used common sense and started using it. Great small oven, which i use most of the time, it saves heating the large oven when you're only cooking one thing, so saves fuel.

- The indicators to show which ring you're using, they need to be at the bottom of the knob, rather below it.

+ This machine is super quiet compared to other machines i've bought. It's a good looking machine in black, has a count down LED letting you know how long the cycle has to finish and a large drum and door. Very pleased i purchased this model
