The controls are easy to work out and together with the automatic ignition it makes it really easy to operate. Cooks well, and is easy to keep clean. I also like the light in the main oven as it's easy to keep an eye on how food is cooking.
-
I'm disappointed that the grill pan in the small oven/grill doubles up as the oven shelf, instead of there being a seperate one for the purpose of baking. The grill pan is designed to have the handle attached perminently, when the handle is screwed on, you can't use the pan as a shelf because the oven door won't shut with it on; if you leave the handle off it makes using it for grilling quite ackward to say the least.

It doesn't fit where it should and I have got my money back.
It will not fit flush to a wall so if you have a fitted kitchen it is basically half way into the room with a big gap where the pipes have to go behind it because there is no recess for them to fit into behind the cooker!.
How daft is that???

Hob position markings are under the knobs, so you can't see which one is which without bending down (or being really short).
Plastic packing is stuck to the cooker UNDER the screws (you would have to take the cooker apart to get it all off).

Double Oven
We bought it as the only slimline gas cooker with a double oven and integral grill but it is nothing like as good as its predecessor.
-
You have to look under the knobs to find out which hotplate you are turning on. The interior of the oven is narrower than our last Cannon and some dishes no longer fit. The grill pan does not store in either oven and also gets very hot.

Have to hold down ignition for about 7 seconds after lighting ovens and grill to ensure they stay lit. Not a hardship, just annoying if you forget and have to wait sixty seconds to retry. Have therefore discovered it's best just to give it a good 8 seconds first try just in case.

A good looking cooker, with adequate sized double oven for large or smaller portions of food, small oven is very handy for the smaller sized portions and quicker saving energy instead of heating a large oven. The whole cooker is easy to clean with the right product!

This cooker has an automatic gas lighter - as long as gas flows, it sparks. Great with kids around.
The grill is flexible, powerful and fast, a pleasant change from the last double oven cooker which we replaced. The ovens are also quick to heat, hold their heat, are both illuminated when in use and take the maybe out of cooking sausage toad/yorkshire puds. The oven doors look as if they will be easy to clean, especially inside the glass, but so far haven't got dirty.

Heating Type of Main Oven

|
Convection
|
|
Conventional ovens heat from the bottom so the top of the oven will be slightly hotter than the bottom. This is useful when you’re cooking lots of different dishes at a time. However, they do take a little longer than fan ovens to heat up.
Fan ovens circulate the air so that you get an even temperature throughout the oven. They are quicker to heat up which means they save on energy and time.
Multifunction ovens give you the flexibility to use different methods of cooking. They usually have both fan and conventional settings as well as pizza settings that will only cook from the bottom, giving you a crispy pizza, or top-only cooking that is very useful for browning.

Self Cleaning

|
None
|
|
Self-cleaning ovens can come with catalytic liners or pyrolytic programmes.
Calalytic liners are the bumpy surfaces which line the inside walls of the oven. They absorb the food and grease and break it down so that the oven is easier to clean.
Pyrolytic programmes run for a couple of hours and burn off all the grime in your oven at temperatures up to 500°C. As it gets so hot, the oven door usually locks so that all you need to do is sweep up the ash that’s left over at the end.
