grill is lacking in that there is only one position for the grill tray and it is very high. I would not have purchased this oven if I had realised beforehand, I wish there was provision for inserting grill pan at a lower level also.

Looks good, I like the ceramic hobs, no fussy controls (except maybe the timer...), and no needless extras. Excellent price and it does what you'd want.

Grill takes a bit of getting used to - only one shelf setting, and control knob doesn't offer 'quick toast', i.e. good high heat. Oven cooks slightly uneven, you have to turn the dish around towards the end for an even browning. The timer knobs look like they'll be easy to knock off, could have been more flush.

Enamel at front of hob sratches easily.The two front rings are too too close to the enamel at the front of the hob and you have to think where you are placing your saucepan. Ifthe saucepan is too close to the front of the cooker,and because the gas rings are recessed,the sauepan would actually be in contact with the enamel surface, fronting the hob, and this has caused scrathes! The metallic frames covering the gas rings on the hob are rough to the touch underneath, for cleaning.The oven bakes unevenly and browns + on one back quadrant.

Not a major fault, but oven a bit low if the grill had been shallower the oven could have been a few inches higher which for an elderly person could be a selling point.

Nice looking product, has seperate grill from oven. A basic cheap cooker.

Oven too near the floor - you have to bend down really low to check cooking process. A lot smaller then my last cooker and when you light the oven the flame keeps going out when you release the switch and you have to keep your finger on it for ages. In future I will noy buy on line but go to the store to actually inspect the product and get the one I want.

The gas controls are far too sensitive for my liking.
The grill door opens downwards, the oven door opens sideways. If you are using both the grill and oven together it is very difficult to gain access to the oven compartment because of the grill door.
The largest gas ring is a the front of the cooker whilst the smallest is at the back, I'd prefer to have them the other way round. It is wrong to have to lean over a large pan that is very hot to get to a small pan that is only warming something (I wish I'd thought about this before I bought it).

badly designed oven handles, grill is huge but there is only one grill position and it's way too high, right up by the element, so things get burnt quickly. Why take up so much space if you're only going to have one grill posit?

Having to wait for oven to ignite, you have to stand there with the gas knob pressed in for a lot longer than the 3 secs it says in the manual.
The sides of the oven get so hot that if you are cooking something in this new oven ready plastic stuff & you have two of these side by side the plastic melts even though it is a good 2 inches away from the side.

Unlike my old cooker, I can now see the food cooking in the oven because of the glass door and the light!

A great cooker for the price - looks good and the glass lid is great especially if you have a small kitchen. Easy to use and easy to clean - can't fault it at all - only had it for a couple of months so long may it continue ;o)

The clock display is very bright and in today's climate it makes me wonder about unnecessary energy consumption - I'd rather it had a dim setting so it uses less power! I hasten to add that this is not something I've noticed on my electricity bills, just from late night wandering into the kitchen!

If the pan you are using is too big it will reduce the heat to stop it overheating. However it takes a long time for a big pan of water to boil for your pasta.
