+ Good close shave. Best shaver I've had in 20 yrs. Its lightweight, quiet and the battery lasts longer than the stated 50 mins. The cleaning and charging pod actually does what is should do as well. Great foil shaver.

+ An excellent razor for the price- shaves quickly and particularly good at getting rid of those awkward stray hairs. No need to pay three times as much for a razor which basically does the same!

+ as a previous Braun user I have found this model as good as expected however.......

- The trimmer is not so hot as unlike my previous Braun shaver it is not so easy to use

+ Much quieter than my old Braun model 5610, and less vibration too. The shaver is a similar overall design to my old one, but because it is washable it has an 'easy grip' coating on the body which makes it easier to handle with less 'grip' pressure needed. A joy to handle when shaving. The cutter seems to be better regulated throughout the charge cycle maintaining an optimal speed, the old one was really too fast when fully charged. The flexible pouch was a positive step away from the horrible hard plastic container with the older model. The new shaver has a simple charging lead, which is better than my old model bulky 'base charging station', which means I am much more likely to take away with me on holiday. I have now used the 'Clean & Renew' station and found it to be a good idea, hopefully the replacement wash cartridges are not too expensive. The shaver does not necessarily give a closer shave than my older model, I believe that we have reached the limit in foil and cutter technology so improvements are made elswhere. Overall an excellent product.

- Only one small point really - the plastic foil guard seems a little flimsy and can be knocked off quite easily, if it were a little tighter to clip over the foil then it would not come off quite so easly.

- Blade and foil sizes are too small therefore it doesn`t fast enough and shaving takes long time

+ Easy to grip and almost impossible to drop even when shaving those difficult to reach areas

- I bought this to replace an old 5 series Braun and the shave isn't as close

- As with all electric shavers, doesn't give a close a shave as a wet shave. However the results with this razor are very good.

+ My second one of this range extremely pleased with it overall. Battery life is great use it every day, cannot remember the last time I had to charge it.

- Difficault to get a close shave easily. You have to repeatedly go over and over the same spot.

- The claening solution is expensive if you use everyday,so i tend to give it a rinse under a hot tap and only use the cleaning facility on weekends.
