- The 40 degree wash does not dissolve the washing capsules and therefore leaves the remains of the sticky capsule on the clothes which then need to be re-washed. I bought the machine with a quick wash as this is a programme I use a lot of the time but now cannot use this programme with the washing capsules as again the temperature of the wash does not dissolve the capsule. Also I bought a washing machine with a lesser spin and now wish I hadn't.

- spin cycle selector button difficult to use. Start button to easy to be pressed by accident especially by young children who brush past it. Has stopped mid cycle on two occasions in 5 months.

- Touch controls are very sensitive - we catch ours sometimes when getting things out of a cupboard nearby. The bleep at the end of the cycle is extremely persistent - it would be good sometimes to be able to turn this off.

+ I bought this to replace a Bosch that we had for 7 years, not bad bearing in mind that it runs at least three times a day, every day.

- can't turn off the buzzer which lets you know the cycle has finished- so not good for running if you plan to go to bed! I find i have to continually clean the detergent drawer as powder accumulates in the conditioner section.

+ Very good at low temperature as well as normal temperature. It bleeps to say it has finished. Sturdy with very little vibration or shake.And even the kids use it.

- No hot water fill, and I do wonder if it did have a hot fill perhaps it could then be more economical to run, if the source of the hot water is close to the machine and there fore heat is not wasted in the pipes around the house. Would be nice to have the option, and an explanation in the install instructions so people could make there own mind up. Perhaps saying ‘If your combination boiler, of if you have a hot water storage tank, and the pipe work is greater than it ???? meters away, we do not recommend you connect the hot water supply pipe, as it will not be economical to do so.

+ It is very quiet and easy to use. It gets the washing much cleaner than my last machine.

- The door needs to be shut with some force. The beeping which occurs every few minutes to indicate the end of a cycle is useful initially, but then becomes slightly annoying.

- Lights don't go out when it has finished washing, so I am reluctant to put it on if I am going out. You actualy have to turn it of manually for the lights to go out.
