- Rinse is not as thorough as it could be. Other than that, I love the new machine.

+ I am no expert on washing machines all that I can say is that I did not need to look up the imfo in the book that came with it I just looked at the imfo on the door and every thing worked great my washinh comes out perfect every time what more can I say

- Because you have to push a button to start the machine it cannot be used with a timer to make use of the evening energy saving.

- The "Start" button doesn't have a very 'positive' action (our old Bosch had a sturdy button with a positive spring-backed action) - makes it hard to tell if you've pushed the button sometimes.

+ It's a Bosch, so good quality & reliability. Price was very good as well. It's very quiet and the express wash is very quick. All in all very pleased.

+ This was an extremly cheap top brand washing machine that "does what it says on the tin." Simple to use and no uncomplictaed wash programs to understand. Very quiet too.

- I have noticed that the washing tablets sometimes get stuck between the glass door and the rubber surround.

- my 18 month old finds it very easy to change the programme while the machine is running so we have to keep resetting it.
also the spin is noisier than i expected

+ Good all-round washing machine. Fairly large drum and easy to use settings on the control panel.

- The high spin setting is quite loud and doesn't leave the clothes much less damp than the lower setting.

+ It's quiet. It has two spin cycle speeds I can use. It also has two wash cycle settings for all types of wash (intense and express setting). I can also set it to the minimum of 30 degrees temperature - I only need to wash on a low temp for my coloured wash. It also doesn't use the hot water supply so there is no need to continuously have hot water stored in the house. It is in the A+ energy efficiency category which was very important to me. I consider this to be a very good buy.

- The only issue I have is that it has more buttons than the previous machine had (same model but 10 years older) and I have to actually turn the machine into the 'off' position in order for the status light to stop flashing. This isn't a huge issue - but it's an unnecessary flashing light which wasn't required.

+ I read the reviews first and it lives up to them. It is very quiet, the drum is bigger so I can fit alot more in, the quick wash setting is indeed quick, it is very easy to understand all the washes which is good because I dont have alot of time. I chose Bosch because of its good reputation, but I couldnt afford top of the range. This is the cheapest in the range, but you wouldnt know it. Very happy indeed with my purchase.

+ It's quiet, easy to use and unobtrusive. It's efficient and is good value for money. I've paid more for less efficient machines before now. It's not over-complicated by latest gizzmo's, it just does it's job well.

- Still looking. My wife would prefer a separate light to indicate completion of the wash, rather than use an existing light that changes to flashing when the wash is finished.
