I got the machine for my elderly father. It fits well ontop of his kitchen work tops & he finds it very easy to use. The cleaning results are up to usual Bosh standards.

I had a similar Bosch dishwasher before, had no trouble & when, after 8 years, it died, I replaced it with the current model. As it is a tabletop model built-under, there was no need to modify the hole. Since I purchased this in Jan 2006, the service engineer has come three times to attempt to repair the same fault, we are now on the "try a different rinse aid & see if that does the trick", very scientific approach!

+ A reliable product - easy to instal and run. Easy salt and rinse aid filling. Simple cleaning of filter.

- Doesn't hold quite as many dishers as the dishwasher this one replaced. Very long time cycle - especially for 'normal' use. A few dishes not washed well - depending on locationin washer and loading.

Better than doing by hand! A fair but expensive machine if space is limited - if you have the room go for a floor standing model.

+ It is very quiet and efficient.

- The rack for cups is too small.

Overall an ideal dishwasher for a one or two person household.

+ Brilliant little machine. Cleans really well for a small machine if you always use the longest 'pan' setting. Everything comes out sparkling. Very versatile interior layout too, and it fits my biggest stock pans with ease.

- Can't do wooden spoons or big knives very well (its not tall enough), unless you lie them down. As bad points go, its not a huge one really!

This has transformed the state of my kitchen. I don't know how I lived without it.

+ It cleans thoroughly. I've never had to rewash any item. The rack inside is flexible as to the arrangement of items to be washed.

- I was disappointed to find the door facing coming away at one side within a week of delivery. The hassle involved in replacing the item for this minor defect which didn't affect the function of the machine meant I just kept it, but I expect better from Bosch.

+ Overall the machine is great and I love it.

- Don't use tablets as they are too big and you can't close the washingpowder compartment. You need to push it all the way down and not where it looks logical to close it. Only use a small amount of soap, all this should have been explained much better.

+ Cleans well....

- Ridiculously small, has the same footprint on the counter as the Zanussi it replaced, but doesn't clean anywhere near as much, the layout and room inside is poor. There is a shelf for cups, it wouldn't fit the smallest Expesso cups, so I don't know what it is meant for, Egg Cups???

+ Exactly as it says - a compact dishwasher that could fit into even my small kitchen

- Bit noisy, but then again I don't have to stay in the kitchen and listen to it

+ Just the right size. Sits proudly on my bench top where my old microwave used to be. Fantastic machine cleans the dishes beautifully and uses very little salt and rince aid. Wish i had bought one years ago

Had a similar Bosch Table top model previously, but that washed in half the time, and was much quiter.

- Doubtful whether it would hold FOUR place settings as claimed, although that does not worry me! Instructions could be a little more explicit in places e.g. removing the arm.

+ The Bosch SKT5102 cleans and dries dishes really well (surprisingly, some dishwashers don't) and it's built to last. This purchase was to replace another SKT5102 that had lasted over 10 years, despite being used 2 and 3 times a day.

- Bosch appear have extended the cycle time on the new machine. I think they've just added 20 minutes to the timer (the wash having already finished) so that you give the dishes time to dry and cool.

A very useful machine

+ Brilliant, my first ever dishwasher, solid, reliable, good at washing dishes, also I have a small kitchen, so a quick microwave shuffle, a bit of a squeeze, and fitted. Easy, I am very happy.

- The water feed in lead was long enough, but could have done with a longer waste lead and some adaptors, no big deal, sorted with one trip to DIY shop.

+ Small & Compact, Just what I was looking for (for my Nan)

- Cant fit her mugs in, only fits very small cups. Cant fit any saucepans in. Diswasher dispenser is a little tricky to open (My Nan is elderly & finds it diffilcult) Her last one was fine, so its not her. Much prefered her last compact diswasher, it was small but could fit alot more things in.

+ Fits neatly into a small kitchen. Is simple to use

- Cutlery box does not take soup spoons nor table knives

+ It is small, very neat, cleans very well indeed and for the size of it extremely efficient

- The cyole times do take a long time and even when you let it go through the drying period the tops of the cups still have puddles of water on them

+ We bought this as a direct replacement for the slightly older model which we had for 9years with minimum problems. We have limited space and find that this model fits our needs.

- Occasionally previous model had problems with partially blocked tubes. Which can be cleaned out but it is time consuming. This is a minor problem for an excellent machine.

+ i am happy with my dishwasher fits just right on my sink top.

+ This product suited me mostly because of its size. I find it easy to use and economical to run. The eco wash gets most of my dishes clean. I was really pleased with it.

- You cannot use tablets in this machine as they are too large and don't fit. Also the dosage of a tablet is too large so you have to cut it in half! The water fill pipe seems a little too short.

- ? current model takes much longer than a similar older model on the same wash cycle(used by my mother), is this more energy efficient? This model does not have the red "ON" indicator light as the older model has.

+ Looks good, easy to install in small space under the sink unit, there is not a lot of choice in small washers

- 3rd one purchased in 6 yrs, Heaters are the main fault, fragile door breaks when dropped, had to back up with wood to make stable

+ excellent at getting the pots clean even on economy wash.Plenty of room for a family only needs 2 cycles for a family dinner for 6 best thing we ever did when I bought this.

- none really except have to remember not to shower when it's on as it is cold water feed like shower and water gets too hot.

+ I'm surprised you don't ask to rate 'effectiveness' out of 10?? It's a great little machine - not bad to look at, and it CLEANS. 100% of the time it CLEANS and it cleans well. Worth every penny and if I could choose again I'd choose the same without a doubt.

- Need to crush dishwasher tablet so that the tablet dispenser can close. Perhaps Bosch could look at this feature on future models, as it would make life easier for the consumer. Also, an indicator to show that the machine is on and when the programme is finished would be good, too.

Economy cycle quite lengthy.

+ Dishwasher is able to fit in small places. Very quiet and able to fit a large service of products in dishwasher and dishes come out very clean even on a quick wash. Very impressed!

+ Its a great size, as far as I am aware the only dishwasher available which fits on the worktop which is perfect for kitchens which dont have a dishwasher alcove under the worksurfaces.

- It does take forever to run the cycle and it noisy, but thats life!

+ I was so pleased with the one that I bought in June, that I bought this one for my elderly parents. It is compact, quiet, and cleans very well. Being a table top there is no need to bend to load it. That is very important.

- Washing cycle does seem a bit long, but the results are good so maybe that is the price to pay.

- THE MACHINE HAS A SMALL COMPARTMENT FOR PLACING THE SOAP TABLET. UNFORTUNATELY IT DOES NOT TAKE MOST TABLETS; MEANING THE TABLET HAS TO BE PLACED INSIDE THE WASHER, THIS DOES HAVE AN EFFECT IN THE OVERALL QAULITY OF THE OF THE WASH.

- The cycles are quite long and the design of the interior isn't as good as our last washer - we can't seem to get as much in.

- The water feed pipe is typically poor. The dial worries me a little, I prefer more digitalised products usually.

+ Small and handy. Maximum of 4 users per session. Ideal for a couple. Good rotation of crockery so that you don't need to stockpile your dishes. Thorough, effective cleaning.

- This the second Bosch Table Top dishwasher in 4 years. The paddle blades no longer rotated. Could be pump failure. Brakdown instructions etc insufficient to repair the old model.

+ Surprisingly good capacity. It'll take all my pots and pans and chopping boards after a serious cooking session. And while it doesn't take 3-in-1 tablets, it's easy to find the liquid gel and it doesn't take much to get lovely clean dishes. Easy to install (I did it myself) and it's a good bit of kit with a small footprint - perfect for a space-challenged kitchen. I wish I'd bought one years ago!!

- A little noisy and cycle times seem quite long, but no worse than my washer/dryer. Took some planning to fully load it initially, but I've got the hang of it now.

+ For the size of the machine it delivers fantastic results, equal to that of the full size dishwashers. Very very happy with this product, not much noise at all, so easy to use - sparkling clean crockery every time!

+ This dishwasher is ideal for the smaller kitchen/family. It sits neatly beside the sink, is easy and straightforward to use and it does a great job of getting the dishes clean. Also, because the outside casing is smooth with only the programme selector knob protruding slightly, it is easy to keep it clean.

- A drawback, rather than a bad point, is that you need to use separate detergent, salt and rinse aid because the all in one tablets are too big to use.. however you still only need to add the detergent every time since the machine stores the salt and rinse aid.
