Bosch KGU30605 Reviews: Frost Free, Energy Efficient, White fridge freezer

+ The fridge is weel designed and overall a fantastic product. The seetings to adjust the temperature are very clear on the fridge.

+ Build quality is very good and to a high standard overall, easy to keep clean.

+ The fridge freezer is well designed and can accomodate things of an unusual size in comparison to the american style fridge freezers. The price waas the best I found at the time of purchase.

- There is a red warning light that has appeared on the display and we have called someone out to look at it. It took 3 working days for an engineer to be sent. They replaced the display module and all was fine for 3 hours. Then the red light came back on. Wre've called them out again but it will be another 3 working days before they get here. I could have lost a lot of food by now if there was actually a problem with th fridge freezer itself.

+ As always with a Bosch appliance you are buying something at the better end of machine quality, and this is obvious when you compare it with other makes.

- As with many makes there can be too many easily breakable plastic parts. More strength would be prefered ie metal or stronger plastics.

Clear convenient temperature/status indicators

- The fridge door is badly designed. I often find it is partially open wasting electricity and icing up the insides. This is because if you push the door, so that it slowly swings to, the plastic sensor catch at the top of the frame is too stiff and prevents the door from closing properly. Alternatively if you swing the door shut faster it can bounce of the surrounding seal and again remains open. This is very annoying. With my last fridge the door would naturally swing shut under its own weight even if I accidentally left it open.
