+ VERY very very very quiet

- The balls of washing "powder" are not totally dissolved when the wash and rinse is finished, so how can the items being washed be properly rinsed?

+ Clear display. Very easy to use. Option to change the temperature and spin speed with each program. A lot quiter than my previous machines. Looks very trendy for a washing machine!

- Would be good if it had an half load option. Detergent drawer seems a bit flimsy and door needs slamming to shut.

+ it's easy to use it's wonderful best washer iv'e ever had .you can have it as cool or hot as you want spin speed what you want i love it.

+ Quiet and quick, particularly on the easy care load.
Spins well (although reports say it is only a 'B' rate spin) - it spins better than the hotpoint we had and at a lower speed!

+ The noise level is very low, the cycles are quite varied and the display is very easy to read and understand.

- The maximum rpm on the spin is 1200, I think this could be a little higher. I am having the wash out the soap dispenser each time as it seems to retain some of the powder and also some of the fabric softner. Improvements could be made here.

+ This machine is so quite compared to my last. The controls are simple and no confusing LCD to negotiate

- Minor -ve point is there is no half selection

+ VERY QUIET. LOTS OF DIFFERENT PROGRAMMES TO CHOOSE FROM AND ON EACH OF THESE YOU CAN ALSO CLOOSE SPIN SPEED AND TEMP.

+ Very good machine, times are short which is good if you are hanging around waiting for your washing. The 15 minute wash is excellent for a quick wash programme for few items. If you want a longer wash for dirty clothes there is always the option to extend the wash on many programmes.

- I cannot really think of any only that the controls are sensitive if you sometimes catch them when you have set the delay timer.

- Only real gripe is the ease at which the control dial can be knocked by the resident little monster (18 month old)! I often find the washing machine spinning away with nothing in it!

+ Has lots of different wash cycles to choose from including super fast 15 minute wash. You can also adjust the pre-set programmes to suit you too so you end up with even more combinations.

- Outlet hose is too short, could do with being 2m long instead of 1.5m (although this may only be a problem for people whose sinks are to the left of their machine like mine).

+ Washes well and is very nice to look at.

- Sometimes needs a bit more rinsing

+ Looks great and doesnt look cheap as I really wanted a black one and some of them looked so cheap. Hoping it will be as reliable as my last 2 washing machines.

- Spins arent very good on it considering the price we paid 1200 is nothing in winter when you havent got a dryer.For this reason I cant use the darks programme as the clothes come out too wet despite changing the spin to 1200.
I know we should always use a full load but to me its pointless putting in a super quick wash that you cant have as half load. If I am wanting to wash something super quick its usually just the kids school uniform which isnt a full load.

+ We've had earlier versions of Bosch washers and they have always been reliable - so this was the main reason we purchased this brand. Looking at the features and the drum size over a number of different options, this machine was miles ahead of the rest for technology.

- Being hyper critical - the noise of the pump when removing the water is slightly lounder than our old unit, but I'm hoping this will reduce with wear as the machine breaks-in.

+ Does everything you expect a washing machine to do. It is quick and really simple to use. Although it is not the quietest machine, I found it a lot quieter than the Hotpoint Super Silent machine I had before.

- Doesn't have as many programmes as my last machine, but it has all the necessary ones.

+ Very easy to use, looks great! Handy lcd screen telling you how long is left and easy to change settings and pause mid cycle. Love the timer function, can set it to have washing ready when we get in from work.

- Not really a bad point but id reccommend a big sticker on it saying remove transportation devices before using, in our excitement we forgot and washing machine bounced accross the floor!

+ my washing comes out so much dryer than with my old machine - the spin on this machine is fantastic!

+ Really easy to use (didn't really need to use the instruction leaflet, but even that was in plain English and made sense!). Looks really sleek and attractive. Cycle times are great and you can change just about every variable on a load (temp, spin speed etc) and time changes accordingly. Installation was also straightforward.

+ Build quality and lack of noise while running is definately noticable over other brands. Offers a good range of cycles and the freshen-up feature is great, and only takes 15 mins.

- Drum size could be a little larger.

+ displays time left for each wash. I like the idea of being able of setting the washing ready for a certain time, although I am yet to use this feature. Its pretty quiet compared to our old Hotpoint one. I also like the fact that I can change the temperture on each was as I desire. Can put upto 7kg of washing in saving me doing 2 sparate loads, also like the feature of being able to add more water.

- it's white, not silver so stands out in our kitchen! the other colours available for this model, costs considerable more. Apart from this, no bads points so far.

+ A great machine that displays the legnth of each cycle, has a wide variety of programmes to suit your washing requirements. Large drum capacity, and fairly quiet.

- It keeps beeping when the cycle has finished - useful so you know it has finished but they are very loud and too many of them. I would like to switch on the machine and go to work but the beeps are too loud and continuous to do that. It should go on hibernate if after a certain amount of beeps, noone has switched it off!

+ It has a really big drum so you can fit a huge load of washing in which saves on money, it is simple to use and also looks really good. A very good machine and worth the money.

+ only had it a month but so far pleased. works as advertised and all features very user friendly. Particularly impressed with 24 hr timer and wash finish times, plus fact that you can override most programmes to give higher or lower temps and spin speeds.

+ This washer washes extremely well, I now use 30 instead of the 40 temperature I used to use with my old washer. Love the variable spin speeds and there is a very good selection of programmes.

- The door needs a good slam to close it, a minor inconvenience.

+ Good quality machine, quiet running which you would expect from a new machine. My old hotpoint wouldn't take the fabric softener for years so this is a plus. Like the delayed start so I can run it at night to take advantage of cheap electricity. Each programme can be tailored individually.

- Instructions booklet not very clear, from language I would say it's been translated from German(?) It states in literature that there is a half load setting but appears you have to use the Wash plus setting if you are doing a full load. Would rather have had that option the other way round/

+ Our last washing machine had plastic drum paddles and we were frequently replacing them, Bosch is the only manufacturer that we found which has an all metal drum. Energy efficiency, ease of use, fetures and build quality also played an important part of choosing this product.

- Not actually a bad point, but when you choose your cycle, check that the spin speed will be the one you want. I accidentally put a wash on that had a 1200 spin speed and the washing was fairly creased.

+ very quiet - especially on spin cycle. Very reliable and a good make so expect it to last a good ten years at least. the quick cycle is v useful. the price for the brand was excellent and rated v well in the which? magazine as a good buy.

- The ease of use when selecting the programme is over complicated and not as inuitive as the indesit. Though the digital display v good in stating amount of time remaining for a cycle. The choice of programmes available though are numerous - which is a plus
