+ very quiet, wash very good on longer cycles

+ So much better than my old Dishwasher and hopefully with Bosch reliance. Easy to stack, super cutlery holder and a top basket for longer tools. Easy to alter basket heights.

space for wine glasses isn't very secure and often glasses fall over which is fine is there not your best ones and likely to get damaged.

+ This is a perfectly adequate machine. But the most important thing is, how reliable will it be and how long will it last. Obviously these questions cannot be answered shortly after purchase.

- It has no low temperature gentle programme for glassware. It never occurred to me that any dishwasher nowadays would lack such a programme, so I didn't specifically check. I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known. That is the reason that I wouldn't recommend it.

+ Qiet. Low watwr cosumption.

- Some residue left after completion of was. Items in some areas do not get clean. Loading placement seems critical. Does not wash as well as our 20 plus year old Bosch dishwasher bit replaced.

- A fiddle to load - especially the basket. for knives and forks.
Slow - rinse and hold takes 15 minutes not the 5 I am used to.
Top tray not clever for mugs etc

- The spikes & folding spikes could do with being taller in height, as they do not separate large dishes sufficiently to clean properly ie; plates touch & food stays on them.

- Washing performance not as good as 8 year old Bosch that it replaced !!

+ Alot of options/cycles, however it does say don't use combined dishwasher tablets on quick cycle or half load which is a bit disappointing. Different cycles affect water economy which can be upto 19l, so the 12l statement on the spec can be a little misleading.
Overall seems to be doing what it should be and saving me time.

+ Quiet with a good clean and easy to load

- Long cycle times and machine was a fraction bigger than my last one and I had to alter my kitchen cupboards to get it in!

+ Having read other reviews, we always go for a default cycle of quick-rinse with the extra drying time.This does an excellent job almost all of the time.
A much better layout than our previous (Hotpoint) dishwasher.
We live in a very hard water area - a nice feature is the ability to make the washer aware of that - it adjusts the salt usage to take this into account. Other nice features are that it reminds when you need to top-up the salt and rinse-aid.

- A minor hassle is that is has a bulky bit on water supply hose (still not sure exactly what it is for - possibly a filter), which meant I had to enlarge the hole through to my pipes under my tap. It is unlikely this will effect that many other people.

+ Stylish, really quiet - you hardly know its even on. Baskets glide smoothly. Just press the button and you're away.

- Not quite as efficient to load as our last one but our last one had really had it and this is lovely.

+ This is a replacement for the last excellent Bosch dishwasher, which like all their products seem to, proved a long-lasting and reliable machine.

- would have liked a further wash option, between half hour and two hours twenty. about one hour long would be better.
the half load option should be on all cycles. i wanted to use it on the quick wash, but it doesnt work on that one, only the longer programmes.

+ Lovely, quiet machine. Cleans very well. This dishwasher is fantastic compared to our last one.

- Some of out cutlery is too fat to fit through the cutlery holes, but ut's not really a bad point as I can just lift the lid up and have the cutlery loose in the tray. No problem, they still clean well.

- 'On' and 'start' buttons are 'cheap'.

+ Have so far only used the quick wash programme which I find totally effective, though I do rinse off items before loading. Easy to load - better organised than my previous dishwasher (some years ago)

+ It's great having the option of an eco wash to use less water and also a half load option. It's incredibly quiet, in fact I go back sometimes to check I put it on because our old machine you could hear in the next room!.
We have a big family and it washes all our dinner time dishes first time( if really grubby they go on the intensive cycle). A first rate buy in my opinion.

+ Very quiet and easy to load. Quick wash is great and gets everything clean. To reduce cycle time I use half load setting even on full heavy soiled load and it all came out sparkling!

+ Very easy to use. No nonsense display indicates cycle times and when you need to top up the salt and rinse liquid. Seems to clean even the grubbiest pots and pans pretty well. Very pleased.

- Nothing major. Cups/mugs on top rack often still wet at end of the cycle - but that is not the end of the world.

+ An excellent dishwasher, good performance and cleaning. Well designed interior and easy to load. A rack above mugs is useful and you can loads more in. Very quiet.

+ it is so quiet and I can set the timer to come on overnight on half price electricity. I have a range cooker and it takes all the oven shelves, pan stands with ease and large casserole dishes.

- the economy wash takes 10 minutes longer than the intensive wash and at this point in time I can't think of any other bad points this is my fourth dishwasher and I am more than pleased with it

+ Does what it says it does. Versatile loading options. Previously owned a Miele, which was a little quieter, but overall this seems just as good, and no way near as expensive. Actual washing performance really good. Have only used the 29 min cycle once, and the tablet didn't have time to dissolve. Usually use the eco wash which seems very good.

- Door catch looks like it might be a bit flimsy and could potentially be a weak point.

+ Excellent cleaning performance. Have not had to put anything back in for a second wash or clean manually after the dishwasher has finished. Very quiet, no longer have to close the kitchen door to keep the noise down as I did with my last dishwasher

- Standard cycle time is 2 1/2 hours which appears quite long. however I am more than happy to accept this given the brilliant cleaning performance it has

+ A very quiet machine, which cleans well. I bought the black model which looks very smart. Bosch warranty service people are very responsive and soon fix a problem :), dishwasher is perfect since motherboard changed.

- Well, to be honest, as soon as it arrived it worked for 15 mins then an error code came up. This happened everytime we tried to use it. Had to call engineer within 2 days from arrival to my kitchen and he had to change the motherboard.

+ Great looking machine ( I have it in black) The quick 29 min cycle cleans most loads if rinsed first. I use this cycle all the time. This is my 3rd dishwasher and my first Bosch, it is the quietest dishwasher I have ever had - by far. I am thrilled with this dishwasher and have already recommended it to friends !

- Didn't clean completely the wire oven shelves when put on specific load and heavy soil programme.

- Quick cycle @ 29 minutes is generally good but does sometimes leave residue on some of the crockery.

- Drying cycle in not as effective as my previous Hotpoint dishwasher I find the layout of the top basket not as user friendly as our previous model - however this may just be because of the size and shape of the glasses we are trying to fit in next to our smaller dishes.

Saying that the 29 minutes wash is good enough it cleans well. Although will not be complete dry but if left for couple of hours all gets dried.

+ excellent wash performance, very flexible on the dishwashing detergent, salt and rinsaid. Practically uses any brand. easy to load once you work out which section suits the type of dishes and stuff you use.

- none really, except the main wash takes more than 2 hours. However this is not really a problem unless you have a party and need to do several loads.

+ The quick wash cycle is very useful and the cleaning performance is consistent and excellent. Much better than my previous Indesit which always needed pre-rinsing before loading.

- The holes in the racks are quite large and small items can drop through.

+ Quick wash at 29mins pretty much does the trick 99% of the time. Also like having a delay timer to put on overnight.

- Dishes a little wet on completion of the cycle and not 100% clean using the auto/daily wash cycle. Cleaning and drying much better on the intensive cycle.

+ Had an Ariston that lasted for 12 years, will just have have to see if the Bosch can last just the same, maybe longer : ) . Good loading placeing as seem to have loads of spaces to fill in.The half hour cycle is just as good for a normal Sunday roast with all its grime it still comes out clean. Can't find any bad points as yet.
