- No bad points to speak of; bit fiddly to load and wash cycles seem on the long side, however that may be what is required to achieve its excellent cleaning abilities.

My previous BOsch dishwasher lasted 17 years and never needed any repairs. It was much better built than this - stronger spring on door, stronger dish rack, stainless steel interior etc.

+ good cleaning

- difficult to load large cerial bowls leading to inefficient use of space.

+ lack of noise and a good clean of all my Pots and pans

- tyring to get cups and and small jugs in can be a bit of a problem. cycle times to long

+ The adjustable upper tray is great for fitting in large pans or tall wine glasses. The trays are well designed and you can fit a lot in very easily. The dishwasher cleans very well, as you would expect from a Bosch - my glasses are sparkling. Salt and rinse-aid indicators are useful.

- The Normal cycle is quite long - usually takes about 140 minutes. There isn't a great choice of programs, but I find I only ever use one or two programs on any dishwasher, so this doesn't bother me.

- The door does not seem to be counter-balanced so you need to get used to it dropping right open as soon as you let it go rather than the controlled fall of my previous model (also a Bosch)
Whilst I am pleased now to have eco cycles I was surprised at how long all the cycles now take, but perhaps this is just modern, improved technology - my old Bosch was 10 years old.

+ Things don't come out feeling really dry and rough on the skin.

- The knife rack at the top won't fully lift up to put glasses underneath - seems a bad design. Cycle time for a normal cycle is very long. Feels less solid than my last dishwasher.

- If you are trying to load the top tray really full, some items can be difficult to place right at the back. But you can get over this by organising a bit...

+ I find it very quiet. The dishes are always very clean with no smearing. It feels like a very robust machine. the handle is not all plastic and fragile.

- I can't really think of any bad points. All in all I'm very satisfied.

+ So quiet we had to check it was on!! Child lock is a god send and i love the flexibility in where you can put stuff. not fixed to a set design.

- It can leave things still a bit wet unless you empty it straight away but that may happen on all machines. Also the knife rack is a bit pointless as it only holds a couple and you can't lift it up fully (the door doesn't open enough to allow you to move it enough) but i'm being really picky now. If thats all i can find to complain about....life can't be that bad!!!

+ Quiet, easy clean filters, reminders when salt and rinse aid need replenishing. A good choice of programmes.

+ Solidly built - it feels much 'clunkier' than our old dishwasher, which is very reassuring. Not too many fancy electronics to go wrong. Washes superbly, dries well too. Bargain.
