+ Easy to use

- Trackball not as flilud as the Pearl

- Cant see how you switch off the password once activated, and no loudspeaker

+ A multi purpose device, slim.

- Simpler sync with other devices could be better

+ It organises your whole life and handles emails as well. You really can detach yourself from the office with this.

- It falls short on the camera side - only 2Mp and no video - i'm sure future models will build on this. Not 3G either, but web via GPRS is quick enough

+ Good features -camera takes good pictures , compact size - easy to carry

- Very small icons on keypad can sometimes pose a problem

+ I really like this product. First class for email in my experience, which is something I really need when on the move, and the rest of the functionality is great too. Really good phone, very light and user-friendly. Delighted with the purchase.

- Has been a total nightmare getting it to syncronise with my e-mail account.

- battery life - i've learnt that if you let the battery run down completely, the charge after that last a few days longer than normal (previously it lasted a day, at most).

- The battery life - seems to only last a day despite following the manufacturers recommendations and only making a limited number of calls/sending/receiving data.

+ The camera is excellent quality and the texting and emailing is really easy to use. I like the organiser and its ease of use.

- Still quite slow when browsing the internet and doesnt always load the websites. The battery life isnt as long as I would have liked.

+ An improvement in generally on the previous models much better having a qwertykeyboard.

- Rollerball can be iritating was used to side button on previous models which i think was easier.

- gprs that it uses - doesn't actually work where I live - so email and web useless

- Doesnt have 'flight mode'; cant get the email to work; cannot use MS office files as I did on my handhelp pc; I dont intend to stay with this product long.

- The device does not have a lot of features that come as standard and you have to buy applications individually and they are very expensive. I also don't like that it is really hard to syn with my laptop.

- The lack of a touchscreen is a major dissapointment and the phone itself just looks tacky, the plastic buttons and small screen do not do this phone any justice whatsoever, compared to a phone like Apples iPhone, leaves a lot to be desired, to be truthfull it's probably already out dated especially with the Storm now available.

- When I say the software is the worst thing, what I mean is the organiser and contact list are of a primitive format and would prefer something that looks nicer.

+ I've been very pleased with the 8310 Curve. It took a bit of sorting out into a set up that I liked, but after that I've been more than happy with virtually every aspect of its operation and performance. Any difficulties I've had have been rectified through time spent using it.

- I think the only disappointment about this phone has been the quality of the camera, although it wasn't bought on the strength of that so that is only a minor gripe.

+ The design is fantastic, once you start using a qwerty keyboard it will be difficult to go back to a normal keyboard. The internet features are brill, you can ckeck your hotmail e-mails by the click of the button, there are just so many features, I haven't used half of them yet.

- When I first received my 8310 I noticed that there wasn't a video recording feature, however Blackberry released a new OS that included video recording and more... It is very different to the nokia's that I have always, but will get used to soon enough

+ I like the qwerty keyboard, better than the touch screen on my previous phone. I can read and respond to emails easily and the whole thing was a doddle to set up thanks to the wizard.
