+ Very flexible in use.
I purchased it to work in an isolated part of the garden, too far away fro a power lead to reach, so it is perfect for that. The re-chargable battery part is also very efficient, one charge lasts ages.

- The drill bits have a nasty habit of spinning loose from the drill. This is due to the "hand tightening" chuck, there is no chuck key to really make a tight seal with the bit.

+ So far it has performed well under medium to light use. With the discount it represented good value for money.

- I was surprised that the battery seem to run down failrly quickly although its use had included trying to drill (unsuccessfully) into concrete. I thought that the instruction manual provided too little detail. When I first used the drill, for example, the screw driver bits kept falling out of their holder. I then discovered that this detached and so resolved the problem. It would have been helpful to be told this.
