+ Looks good, easy to keep clean. The hob burners are extremely user friendly and responsive and the three different sizes are a great idea. The oven cooks very evenly and quickly, especially on fan oven and the results are much better than with my old gas oven.

- The only complaint I have is that crumbs get under the glass on the oven door. This can be removed for cleaning, but I wouldn't think it's a good idea to keep unscrewing the glass.

- It blew up a few weeks after I bought it and now I've got to go to the hassle of getting in touch with the currys to get it replaced. This shouldn't happen with a NEW product so can only assume that the build quality is rubbish, probably manufactured abroad in a sweat a sweat shop with no quality control.

+ Fantastic looking fan oven. Two heavy duty shelves and a good size grill pan. Really quiet too !
Very easy connection on the back, If you can wire a plug you can fit it !

- The only thing that stops this getting a 10 on all accounts is the length of time the cooling fan stays on afterwards. Over half an hour in some cases. Apart from that you can't get anything better even at twice the price.

Conventional ovens heat from the bottom so the top of the oven will be slightly hotter than the bottom. This is useful when you’re cooking lots of different dishes at a time. However, they do take a little longer than fan ovens to heat up. Fan ovens circulate the air so that you get an even temperature throughout the oven. Self-cleaning ovens can come with catalytic liners or pyrolytic programmes. Calalytic liners are the bumpy surfaces which line the inside walls of the oven. They absorb the food and grease and break it down so that the oven is easier to clean. Pyrolytic programmes run for a couple of hours and burn off all the grime in your oven at temperatures up to 500°C. As it gets so hot, the oven door usually locks so that all you need to do is sweep up the ash that’s left over at the end.
