- The grill only has one setting - full - so you have to move the shelf down to slow down grill time

- the grill is a nightmare - no control and the half/full option doesn't work. No temperature control is simply stupid, lowering the bloody thing up and down - who thought of that?!! Tell Belling to sack the design team - thank you.
Oh, and NOWHERE in the manual does it tell you that your main oven won't work unless you set the time - took me a week to sort it out and now I can't turn it off!!

- Switch for puting on the oven needs to be turned until it clicks on to the oven and off of grill mode and my father who I bought this for has had some difficulty in getting this it would have been better if the switch was larger to give elderly people something more substantial to get a hold of. Otherwiase seems to be quite good and worth the money.

- The control knobs are slightly stiff to turn and because they're smooth my hands slip on them. They would be better ridged so as to give a firmer grip

+ The produce seems energy efficient and basically does what it is advertised to do, although I am having problems understand the grill!

- Cosmetically I cannot seem to clean the outside, the stainless steel part of the oven. It always seems to have fingerprints on it even though nobody has touched it. Even after cleaning I cannot get rid of the marks on the casing which have been there from day one.

- SAFETY ISSUE WITH NO AUTO GAS SWITCH OFF - THOUGHT THAT WAS A LEGAL REQUIREMENT??? B(G LET DOWN.

+ Easy view windows at a level to aid any one with back problems. Heats up qucikly therefore saving energy.

- Only one bad point really; the main oven internal removable glass door panel shattered while I was cleaning it gently, it was replaced free by Belling but I am now scared to remove and clean the new one as I could not have been more careful and it frightened the life out of me, almost exploding as I gently rubbed it. The glass was all over the place and took me ages to find and clean up.It shattered like a car windscreen but some small slithers cut me as I was cleaning up.

+ This oven is a great price and works well. It looks goood too.
The oven is hotter than the one I was used to so Yorkshire Puddings no longer stick and food is cooking quicker.

- The top oven ie; the second smaller over takes a while to come to come to temperature.
However the grill works well and is very hot.

+ Good visibility: wide glass doors and good lighting means you can easily see food cooking in both the top and the main ovens. Great adjustability on the shelves in the main oven.

- The door of the top oven/grill doesn't open flat, making it difficut to rest hot dishes. The handle on the grill pan isn't very secure.

+ Stylish, heats up quickly, cook s evenly.

- Timer and oven timer fiddly and confusing from instructions.

+ timer setting is really quick and easy,
fan doesnt stay on forever after your finished cooking

- top oven is alot smaller than i thought it would be otherwise its so far been lovely to use.
only thing i will say is i have spents ages looking for the right double oven before i parted with my money and in the end i had to make a quick decision, if you can look in a shop before you buy online to make sure your really happy.

+ CLEAN LOOKING AND EASY TO USE

- THE GRILLE IS EITHER HALF OR FULL ELEMENT AND ON OR OFF, NO ADJUSTMENT

+ This is fantastic value for money as it looks as good as much more expensive models and the ovens and grill themselves work well.
It is fairly easy to clean and doesn't take long and the manufacturers tip in the booklet to clean the stainless steel outer with baby oil saves money on expensive cleaners and it works!

- The clock sticks and is very difficult and temperamental to adjust or set. What should be easy and take a couple of minutes takes a lot of time and is very frustrating when nothing happens and then suddenly the counter start to move quickly and then stops and sticks again. I do not set the timer on my oven and if someone did they would have to have the engineer out to put this right - I dread the clocks going backward/forwards or a power cut which happened to me recently but it does eventually work if you stick at it.
If it were not for this fault I would rate the product 9 out of 10 overall so it is such a shame that it is let down by this problem

+ Excellent fan oven- cooks very very well. Looks lovely, efficient, just very pleased with it. Was worried about marks being left on stainless steel as everyone seemed to notice it in their reviews but after 6 weeks we've not noticed really, it's not an issue! A lovely oven.

- Shelving - They pull straight out, end up with everything on the floor (so to speak) - on the drop down lids!! I feel the shelving and shelving supports are very poor design and quality. I'd had my old belling cooker for nearly 20 years and this was a very good strong feature. The doors would be better if they came down to a more even level. The knobs are very poor design and prove very difficult to turn.

- Can't think of any - saw reviews where people said when taking out the glass inner door the door itself sprang back and smashed the glass, but it tells you in the instructions to leave the door at 30 degree angle so then this doesn't happen.
