+ overall design is intuitive and pleasant to use and the little things that often bug me when using have been thought of i.e. a good range of shelves for the oven, the lower oven as a slow cooker, design and layout of burners.

- knobs that control heat feel like they are upside down, particularly oven regulator as it is difficult to see what temperature you have set

+ Good clean lines - culinary lbd easy to clean - only thing might be to have a cover for the top to keep general or everyday dust in and around the hobs to a minimum.

Conventional ovens heat from the bottom so the top of the oven will be slightly hotter than the bottom. This is useful when you’re cooking lots of different dishes at a time. However, they do take a little longer than fan ovens to heat up. Fan ovens circulate the air so that you get an even temperature throughout the oven. They are quicker to heat up which means they save on energy and time. Multifunction ovens give you the flexibility to use different methods of cooking. They usually have both fan and conventional settings as well as pizza settings that will only cook from the bottom, giving you a crispy pizza, or top-only cooking that is very useful for browning.
Self Cleaning	None
Self-cleaning ovens can come with catalytic liners or pyrolytic programmes. Calalytic liners are the bumpy surfaces which line the inside walls of the oven. They absorb the food and grease and break it down so that the oven is easier to clean. Pyrolytic programmes run for a couple of hours and burn off all the grime in your oven at temperatures up to 500°C. As it gets so hot, the oven door usually locks so that all you need to do is sweep up the ash that’s left over at the end.
