+ Very pleased with cooker in every way - except the flimsy grill handle which is awkward to use, but we'll live with it!

- I've had the oven for 3 weeks and the engineer has been called twice due to faulty grill. Not what I expected. Very disappointing.

+ I can't find a thing bad about this cooker, others have complained about it being a bit small, but i have only a tiny kitchen and is ideal size for me, its small size doesnt distract from its performance, it cooks well, and as a household of 4 adults i've had no problem cooking with large dishes in oven. The oven is bigger than you think.

- The enameling on the hob pan rests is coming off already and have been told by Belling that this is to be expected.

+ This cooker looks great and is easy to use, the grill and oven heat up really quickly there are saftey items on this cooker which is fab. All in all we are really happy with the new cooker.

- oven shelves have nothing to stop trays falling onto burners

+ I've used this oven before, and they've changed some of the features inside, such as the grill: the gas flames cover the entire top of the grill compartment, rather than just two rows of flames down the middle.
The oven door opens and closes easier than before and the grill pan has a longer handle on it so you don't burn your hands when taking it out.

- oven is smaller than I thought and a big turkey wouldn't go in I think. Also when you light the burners, there is an order to do it, i.e. press the ignition button and turn the knob for the burner but you think it is lit and when you release the ignition it goes out. You have to release the ignition first, then a couple of seconds the knob, but it doesn't always work this way. Very confusing.

- the oven itself is far to small, and very low and the gas rings are flimsy.

- Having to hold the gas knob in for the grill and oven for 15 seconds to allow the flame to stay lit. This was bought for my elderly mother and it confuses her. The gas cooker was bought as this is what she is used to. Overall she is delighted.

- there appears to be no difference on whether the setting is on high or low - its all high and the bars in the oven only allow you to put a rack in every other slot - not each so you can really on have 2 things cooking in the oven - doing a roast is by pure timing - not by ease of oven!! Also the ignitor has a mind of its own.

+ Easy to clean all parts, An essential glass lid not only to cover up hobs when down but protects back wall when cooking.

- Only bad points are the grill when lighting, you have to listen to hear if the burner is lit as you cannot see.
The grill tray with quick removable handle has no securing slots and the handle can slide very easily on the tray making it unstable, although there are two bumps on the tray which should stop this, are not very effective. This comment I hope is cosidered by the manufacturer.

+ Smart, neat little white cooker with transparent glass lid. Perfect size for single people or couples.

- Pilot lighter is on the right-hand side, making it a bit awkward to turn knobs (unless you are left-handed!). Extra care needs to be taken with grill pan handle when moving the pan, as it slips off easily. I would have preferred an opaque glass lid, like my previous cooker, but this is a minor detail.

+ The grill heats evenly and the heat deflectors in the oven are well-designed to ensure food doesn't burn on one side. The knobs on the front are easy to clean.

- The grill pan sits on a shelf rather than sliding into the grooves on the side, which makes it a teensie bit narrower than my previous grill pan. Not exactly a bad point, just something I wasn't expecting. I kept the grill pan from my previous oven, though, so now I have the choice of which to use.

- You cannot put one shelf directly under the other,so when baking a cake for example,you have to leave the bottom tin in oven for a bit longer.

+ good all round cooker does what it says on the tin. glass lid makes it look sleek. cooks quicker than old cooker. diffrent size gas rings save time and gas.

- evan though it is the same height and width as old cooker feels closer to floor. need to kneel on floor to retreive food from oven. oven about 2cm too narrow for baking trays.

+ Living on my own, I needed a cooker with basic ability without any electronic devices and avoid unnecessary complications. The Belling fitted my needs very well and I am getting used to seeing how it performs - To date - no prblems at all.

- When using the oven or the grill I find it beneficial to lift the glass lid to avoid misting up and leaving deposits which may lead to cleaning problems in the long term.

- I have already had an engineer out to un-block one of the pips and one of the rings wont light with the ignition. I have taken the ring off and made sure it is secure properly but the ring still wont light so we have to use a lighter and the cooker is only 2 months old.

+ after using my other oven this one is alot quicker to use and cook food.

- not keen on the clear glass lid would prefer a frosted or covered glass, and don't lid the detachable grill handle.
