+ easy to use and looks smart. heats up quickly and I like the fact that the word hot lights up when the hotplates have been on, so reducing dangers of burning.

+ the ease of cleaning, there is more control of the heat especially on the hob than i thought possible with an electric cooker. The ovens are spacious and having 2 makes cooking a pleasure

- Probably me, but getting used to electric when I have cooked with gas all of my life, but the cooker is fab

+ It looks good! And the hobs are very responsive. I like having a double oven, and the feature in the main oven for cooling/defrosting (i.e. the fan just blows air over the food) is a great feature.

- It would be good if the height was more adjustable.

Conventional ovens heat from the bottom so the top of the oven will be slightly hotter than the bottom. This is useful when you’re cooking lots of different dishes at a time. However, they do take a little longer than fan ovens to heat up. Fan ovens circulate the air so that you get an even temperature throughout the oven. They are quicker to heat up which means they save on energy and time. Multifunction ovens give you the flexibility to use different methods of cooking. They usually have both fan and conventional settings as well as pizza settings that will only cook from the bottom, giving you a crispy pizza, or top-only cooking that is very useful for browning.
Self Cleaning	None
Self-cleaning ovens can come with catalytic liners or pyrolytic programmes. Calalytic liners are the bumpy surfaces which line the inside walls of the oven. They absorb the food and grease and break it down so that the oven is easier to clean. Pyrolytic programmes run for a couple of hours and burn off all the grime in your oven at temperatures up to 500°C. As it gets so hot, the oven door usually locks so that all you need to do is sweep up the ash that’s left over at the end.
