+ I love the quietness even during spinning and the mini 30 cycle is ideal for small loads that just need freshened up. I also like the overall look of the machine. The priceof the machine was very reasonable too.

- Most of the cycles even at 40c are much too long, with the result that I only use the woollens 40 as this is the shortest cycle. I noticed from the guide for use book that the 60c plus cycles can take as long 3 hours. I would question that any clothes however dirty really need to be washed for this length of time.

- noisy,but i,ve heard a lot worse.cycle times seem a bit long,could do with a timesave on this model as has the 520w model. both the 520 and 510 model i purchased very recently leak softener down the front from the drawer if filled just below the maximum level,however the easy way round this is to put less in!all in all if you want a sleek,value for money machine,then don,t let these minor problems put you off!

+ i brought this machine for my mother who is in her 80,s and it is easy for her to use

- lenght of electrical wire was not long enough to reach the socket

+ very quiet, easy to use dial and very cheap, also too many clothes in the drum and the machine wont spin

- It hasn't worked properly since we got it. I reported this but couldn't bare the thought of being without a washer for any length of time so have persevered with the problems. The machine doesn't spin even when programmed to so you have to re-set it to a spin cycle and even then it's pot luck. Often I open the door to a gush of water all over my kitchen floor. At least my kitchen floor is clean!!!

- the product has already broken in just 5 months, i have had to have a new motor and new parts fitted already! the cycles take forever to finish, it doesnt always spin the cloths even if it is on a spin cycle and so the cloths are still drenched in water when you remove them

+ Quiet, cheap, simple construction so hopefully easy to fix

- The cycle time is ridiculously long, over three hours for 40 degree normal wash. After so long, you might expect the clothes to be spun dry but they are still saturated with water at this point so you have to put it on again for another half hour spin. It is so bad, I have considered that mine might be faulty but it does seem to be doing what it is supposed to, it's just rubbish at it.

+ Lot of different cycles to choose from, covering all types fabrics, temperatures and times. A good value machine, that so far has been excellent on performance!

- The only critisism I have, is the long time of some of the cycles, but the 'miniwash' facility is good if you are in a rush with normal everyday materials that do not require a particular wash programme.

- product didn't work properly it took 2 hours for it to get through a cycle and then it didn't spin. It had to be replaced by a machine of a different make. I felt really bad because I had bought it for my son as a moving in present.

+ It's a good value for money washing machine with an AA rating and a 30 minutes quick wash cycle

- On the 30 minutes cycle, ou are risking removing garments with soap all over them and completely soaking. It's not as obvious on longer cycles

- Smelly, VERY long cycle times and the spin only works when the sun is out.

+ It is a good basic washing machine just two dial. More important when I had to phone Beko I spoke to a person. Yes a real live person straight away, no machine asking me to press options, no your call is important to us and they were nice help and prompt.

- Cycles take a long time but most of the time I use the mini 30 wash just right for most of our clothes. I leave the longer ones to do overnight, when the electricity is cheaper.

- The cycle is very long, especially for normal washes. But I put that down to it being a cold water filler, it needs time to heat the water up.

+ Simple to install. Cheap. Does exactly what it says on the tin - cleans clothes!

- Takes a long time for a cycle. Also, it may be at fault for ruining my rugby shirt, but can't be sure on that.....
