Beko WM5120 reviews: Front Loading loading, 5kg capacity washing machine

+ Does what it says on the tin

+ ... brilliant feature is the delayed start times - all you have to do is press one of the buttons! Plus is smaller in depth so it fits neatly under the counter ...

- The door seems to swing open and hit the cupboard behind it but otherwise I haven't found any problems

+ The most important feature for us was the over-all depth of the machine.Our kitchen is small and our previous
machine stuck out a good six inches in front of the work-top.

+ Very easy to use, even for someone like me who's a of a technophobe! I've not noticed the noise, though i'm not usually around it when it's on, but it's not particularly loud. The spin cycle at the end is brilliant for getting the extra water out, very good machine.

- The drum is quite small, a little smaller than I was expecting for a machine this size, but it's not that big of a deal for me as there's only me and my husband's washing to do. Don't think it'd be ideal for a bigger family.

+ Ideal for small family (just my wife and myself) load is good for us ,quick wash cycle is a great feature ,ideal for a lot of our washing ,small loads with low soil,spin speed is good with clothes coming out quite dry ,number of features for different types of fabric ( instruction booklet is very good ,easy to understand)

+ After using it for a few weeks now I find it is very good, I would have liked a half wash, but forgot to check before buying.

+ It washes well, far better than my old machine. The spin at 1200 is very good and clothes are quickly dry. Overall the machine is very good value for money.

- I haven't found any. I would have liked a half load programme.

+ It is not very deep,
you can do any temperature on a quick wash feature, 60deg used to take 2.5hrs - now 1hr 30 :)

- The quickest cycle is still 1 hour long (I miss 40 mins)

+ noise, because I use the timer to coincide with economy 7 electric with no disturbance while sleeping at night.

- I have yet to find any for the price paid other than one with a larger drum perhaps.

- The duration of a cycle seems to be particularly long. The energy rating may be good but that cant stack up against the amount of time it takes to complete a cycle.

- not having 1/2 load as advertised, a bit noisy, the instalation manual was not very clear, time for the quick wash is very long.

- it is quite noisey, I use the quick wash everytime because it seems to take forever even on that setting.
there is always a bit of foam left after the last spin which I dont particularly like as it means that all the suds are not being taken out.

+ This is an exceptional value for money washing machine. I've had a number of Beko products in the past and still have. The washing machine has every function you could want, looks smart and is surprisingly quiet. The price is astonishing. I would highly recommend this product.

- The only downside, though it is not one for me, is that the cycle is quite long. If you're in a hurry then this could be a problem.

- The wash cycle is very long. Even a quick was takes over an hour!! I find this really frustrating

+ It is easy to operate and is very quiet whilst running particularly when spinning. Although there are not very many features on this product I feel it is very good value for money and I am very pleased with it.

- Drum is a bit smaller than I would have liked but it wouldn't be enough to put me off buying this washing machine

+ Exactly what I was looking for with 1200 spin speed and a quick wash facility and energy efficient. it is also very quiet in operation and simple to use and washes and rinses very well. Much more effective than my old washer.

- I cannot beleive how small the drum is, I am a mum of 4 and can hardly get anything in, so this machine in the long run will cost me a lot more as I have to do lots more washing due to a TINY drum size, it should state, its HALF LOAD as thats all you can fit in!!! Will have to sell privately and buy a proper machine not happy at all!!!
