Beko WM5120 reviews: Front Loading loading, 5kg capacity washing machine

+ washing is well done.

- length of time to complete cycle. Having to use the seperate spin cycle is as washing is not spun well enough.

+ This is an excellent machine for its price, I don't think you could get better paying more unless you like the 'bells and whistles".
It washes extremely well, the spin is excellent and has cut down my drying time by half.
Its a cold fill so you would expect the cycle to take longer but that isn't an issue for me.

- Cycle times are way out,far longer than stated

+ clean clothes providdd automatically. Fairly dry when they come out, too.

- 60 degree wash takes two hours

+ Compared to the washing machine I had I am able to set the time for when I want the machine to start, it is coldwater fill saving me money because I choose to use it during the night. It is quiet so doesnt wake the household up

+ This is the first washing mahcine i have bought since i have just moved into my own place and i was looking for an easy to use machine. I found this machine great. It was easy to use, has a quick wash function, its quiet and it has a delay start time which was perfect. Would highly recommend

- The cold water inlet hose isnt that long on the back so we used our old one seems like all the new ones are shorter so hang on to your old one

+ Half wash, we wash constantly 3 to four times a day needs be, at least 4 times a week if it as a weak spot we will find it .My wifes blind she can handle the controls well, as for me no problems

- Like most washers to long on most cycles ,with good quality powders you do not need 2hr slogs.You need to backup with a separate spin.The wifes not impressed thats because I picked it.?

+ This product is easy to use and does the job it's set out to do! The delayed timer is a good feature.

- The downside is it can take far too long to do a normal wash so i only use the quick wash option - which still takes a good hour!

+ It's a very good, budget conscious washing machine. It's sturdy and fits well under the worksurface. I was very impressed by the quietness of the machine and the quality of the wash. It's a fairly quiet machine anyway but its was real added bonus to be able to set the delay timer to wash during the day.

- The filter is far too tight and very difficult to remove (I'm still trying!)

+ Good price. Washes as well as most other mid-low range washers. I like the "handwash" program - better than having to wash in the sink.

- Majority of programs seem very long. By the time the cycle finishes, it is too dark to hang washing on the line - just kidding - but a torch would be useful!!

+ Simple machine. No bells and whistles which is a good thing for me. Does what it says on the tin. Good quality for price.

- Basic cycle takes over 2 hours. Not recommended if you have a lot of washing to do. We are a 2-person household so its acceptable for us.

+ Low on water consumption which is important being on water meter. The machine is on every day so A Energy Rating a must.

+ It is quiet and slimline - good for fitting in a cupboard.
The time delay buttons are extremely useful, as is the quickwash function and the wool/hand wash.
The Door is also nice and large for ease of loading and unloading.

- It will not spin at full power on the 40 degree synthetics cycle - probably the most used cycle.

+ Very easy to use. You can have whatever Spin Speed & whatever temperature you require, you just set it to want you want which is good. Overall I am pleased with the product, for the money it is what I would expect.

- The machine is very noisey & when I first got it I thought there was something wrong with it because of the noise it made, however the more I have used it the quieter it has got, though it is still noisey. The Quick Wash Option isn't very quick, about 1hr 20 mins.

+ Once I could get it to work, the time delay is very useful so can have cycle finish when come in from work so not leaving wet clothes in machine all day

- There is not a mini load button to press, although the booklet says that the machine can detect a mini load and use less water - I am used to telling the machine its a mini load!!

+ Looks good, fits under work surface easily, the different cycles and delay settings. Delay settings are one of the features that decided us on the machine - run your wash at cheap rate times brill!
