Beko WM5100 reviews: Front Loading loading, 5kg capacity washing machine

+ Good value for money

- Would not turn on as it described by holding in a button for a few seconds, instead you have to give the button a sharp prod.

+ A good value machine with low noise so you can have it on during the night and no-one wakes up.

+ Inexpensive, washes and rinses well and has enough wash programmes to suit my needs. Not overly noisy and no worse in that respect than my last washer.

- Cycle times are quite long which is not a problem per see if you are doing just the one load but might be if you want to do multiple loads; that said there is a quick wash option if you don't want to use the main wash programmes.

+ This washing machine is really cheap, so if you want to save your money, I recomend this washing machine. What is more, it is very easy to use.

- If you choose some programe such as cotton programe, it takes longer time to wash. About 2hour and half.
Also, the noise of this machine is basically silent, but when it come to spin, it makes some noise and might disturb you for a while. If you don't mind these things it's reallyworth to buy.

+ It's much quieter than my previous machine, which was only a 600 spin speed!! Its nice to have a quick 30 programme which I didn't have before. The price I felt was very good value for money.

- The dial doesn't move round to show how far the machine has progressed through the wash cycle.
On my old Beko machine, when I used the rinse hold function, I only had to press start when I was ready and it automatically drained and then spin-dried the load. On this machine you have to turn the dial to a different position to drain then press start, then when it's finished draining you have to press start again to get it to spin.

+ As I live in a small flat the size is wonderful, and it was what helped me make the decision to buy this particular make of machine, that and the price. It is a lovely machine and I am very pleased with it. I would recommend it to anyone who is single or just a couple. Obviously not suitable for a large family but for me its really great. I am even happy to do my student daughter's washing now.

- I do think that the cycle times are a bit too long, with three rinse cycles as a norm
