+ Easy to keep clean and easy to use. The oven heats up quickly.

- Having no cover on the hob can be dangerous for small children as the hob remains hot but doesnt look as though it is.

+ Indicates when hot plates are still hot after they are switched off, all controls are well positioned and esy to use

- Seals around doors are not fixed securly all arond only at the corners and lets codensation drip onto the floor when you open the oven door

- Grill handle is not easy to connect or use - have to try & drag the grill out over the shelf BEFORE you can connect the handle, if doesn't connect securely, grill tips!

Built-in machines have a cabinet door attached to the front of them so that they look like the rest of your kitchen. Freestanding machines can be seen and the machine can be placed in any position in your kitchen.

Heating Type of Main Oven	Fan
Conventional ovens heat from the bottom so the top of the oven will be slightly hotter than the bottom. This is useful when you’re cooking lots of different dishes at a time. However, they do take a little longer than fan ovens to heat up. Fan ovens circulate the air so that you get an even temperature throughout the oven. They are quicker to heat up which means they save on energy and time. Multifunction ovens give you the flexibility to use different methods of cooking. They usually have both fan and conventional settings as well as pizza settings that will only cook from the bottom, giving you a crispy pizza, or top-only cooking that is very useful for browning.
Self Cleaning	None
Self-cleaning ovens can come with catalytic liners or pyrolytic programmes. Calalytic liners are the bumpy surfaces which line the inside walls of the oven. They absorb the food and grease and break it down so that the oven is easier to clean. Pyrolytic programmes run for a couple of hours and burn off all the grime in your oven at temperatures up to 500°C. As it gets so hot, the oven door usually locks so that all you need to do is sweep up the ash that’s left over at the end.
