Ateca MON120 Reviews: Multi TV Stand for TVs

+ Very good quality product, looks fantastic and we have had many admiring remarks about it already. The solid end pieces add to its sturdiness and also finish it off nicely, hiding cables which are normally within view when using a run-of-the-mill open sided stand. All in all a very nice piece of furniture which looks good and is a bit different to the usual clear glass stands available in any department store or electrical store.

- If I have to make one negative remark it's about the cable management system at the back of the stand which we decided not to use in the end. In our opinion it could do with being shorter at the base so that it doesn't dig into carpet / hard floor which then puts pressure onto the glass shelves. However this is a minor problem and we would still have bought the stand!

+ Looks very stylish and enhances the LCDTV. Plenty of shelf space for other equipment. The glass shelves are substantial and strong. With a bit of care cables can be well hidden by the cable management housing.

- Clamps that hold the cable management housing to the glass shelves are not very good, if you try and tighten them the thread strips as they are soft plastic but it stays in place ok.

+ Looks as good as we had hoped for. It is really modern,sleek looking and adds style to a functional piece of furniture. Definitely would recommend this TV stand it completely leaves all others in the cold.

- There is only one thing that would have made it a 10 out of 10. There is no back to the stand either side of where the leads are threaded through the central plate at the rear of the stand. I was delighted with the overall look but felt this could be improved if we could could overcome the problem of still being able to see the unsightly but necessary leads for the TV, sound system, Sky and Playstation. Fortunately we had the innovative idea to buy some white perspex and a friend of ours cut it to fit either side of the centre lead block at the rear of stand. This was then easily fixed to rear and totally closed of the view of all those unsightly leads and plugs. What a difference this has made. If the makers are reading this, I would suggest you consider adding this finishing touch, even if it adds a costing to your product I can honestly say it would be well worth it. Thankyou for a brilliant product.
