+ It's incredibly portable, the keyboard is very eay too use, definitly not too small, and the battery life is very decent. I wasn't sure about the laptop, I thought it would be too small, but it's perfect.

- You do have to scroll down web pages to see everything, but this is such a minor detail I wouldn't let you put it off.

Keyboard is as easy as suggested.

- The glossy finish means that looking at it leaves fingerprints all over it, you either wipe it every day or it looks like your kids had hold of it after their ice-creams!

+ The netbook is small and light to carry. The screen is very clear and easy to read

- The battery life is quite limited (2.5hrs), especially if you are on a long train trip or somewhere where you can't plug into the mains but this is really a minor niggle as most places have power sockets available

+ A perfect little computer, does everything I want it to do! It starts up quickly and battery life is good (though it hasn't lasted quite as long as the adverts say). The size is perfect for taking with me but the screen is still big enough to use comfortably.

- Doesn't come with Microsoft Office or antivirus software
No CD/DVD drive makes installing new programmes a little bit more difficult

+ Very good battery life. Quick start up. Great portability.

- Very poor build quality. Within 2 days of use a key fell off the keyboard, making it ineffective as a portable device for me. The keyboard layout is difficult to get used to, particularly for those who touchtype as the Shift keys were in awkward positions.

+ The size, battery life and performance, (thanks to the Intel Atom CPU) make this an excellent option for mobile use and a great second PC.

- These are minor: The wireless NIC is not true 802.11n. The shift button on the right hand side could have been bigger. And the "Eee PC" letters underneath the screen could have been glued on better as my 'C' fell off within the first 2 weeks. The option to have a single partition instead of two (which is the default) when using the supplied ASUS install disc.
