Jessops Joby Gorilla Pod

+ it's easy to use and very flexible.

- It's too small for my SLR camera. It's size wasn't made clear and it should only be used with compact cameras. I thought I'd bought the larger version for a bargain price - my mistake.

+ Simple but effective design, the Gorillapod offers complete felxibility of use and makes tripod photography a doddle.

+ This was actually a present for my Son, but overall he seems very pleased with it.

- Little worried sometimes that the pod will not hold the camera!

+ It was great to use as a couple to ensure you had both of you in pictures as opposed to one or another. Difficult abstract shots were amazing especially if the environment wasn't photo friendly i.e. to where to stand so attaching to rocks, trees, gates, fences etc.etc. It also folds up to nothing and ready in seconds. Bought one for each family member when they went travelling to New Zealand.

- only bad point is the lock for the attatchment to the camera is a bit fiddly. But that wouldn't have stopped me from buying it.

- Locking ring can be a bit "stiff" and difficult to move.
