Easy to set up but i still haven't made use of all the features such as the IR control of my set top box/sky box.
The recordings i have made have been simple to do with the scheduled program guide.
- You have to leave the channel you are recording, on. I over come this by recording from my bedroom tv, leaving my living room tv free to use. I also found when recording from my Sky+ box during the night that when i viewed recordings in the morning that after an hour or so i would get the message "your sky box is going on standby". This is something i am probably doing wrong, it appears that the sky box is not getting a signal from the archos that it is in use. Sounds like a lot of bad points but as i have said i have not used all of the archos' features yet such as HD recording and playback. The tv/movie playback on the screen is excellent when traveling.
