Cd stereo sound quality is to die for & the DVD upscaling on my 37" 100Hz 1080 LCD TV is OMG look at that! (Smooth, super smooth.)
I've been in the trade for 23 years (I've tested thousands of units) & this is the best I've seen, by a very long shot, for the money; super impressed ++

Rc is not bad but not as nice as the unit.
Not designed for multi ch but I'm a stereo boy so no worries for me.

+ For my purposes I can not fault this machine.Not being technically minded I appreciate the relatively simple design and ease of use.The emphasis seems to be on overall quality rather than superfluous gadgets and functions which the majority of people would never use.

+ Solidly built with a good sound and vision output. It has performed well from day one and was easy to set up.
- Not so much a bad point but it is quite slow to load and unload discs compared to the Sony it replaced.

- The design might be a little stark for some, particularly if you're used to all the bells and whisles of say a Yamaha.
