- Battery life is the only bad thing about the iPhone! It only lasts a day and a bit!

+ Easy to use

- Battery life is so terrible it doesnt last a day. to make it last longer you need to switch off every feature that it has. Furthermore, O2 has serious problems with it's internet provision. I could never use it as the only phone i had.

+ A laptop like web browsing experience, without the laptop. Excellent page zooming facility to get a closer view of web pages and photo's. Great email application. Sleek cool looks. A whole host of free and paid for applications available.

- Like all mobile devices unable to view flash within web pages. No copy and paste, other than that it's just amazing.

- SMS is the worst i have experienced, simple things like forwarding text's is not possible. Battery life is very poor. Cant assign your own ringtones, cant assign your own tones to notifacions like e-mails and SMS.

- You are unable to forward messages, it does not have the same features as a Sony Ericisson

- can not cut ext and add to messages and some of the text message applications are not very good

+ this phone is amazing. It's hard to pinpoint just one best feature. If I have to, it would have to be it's web browsing capabilities. It is by far the best that I have tried.

- the only thing that isn't brilliant is the battery life and also the speaker isn't that loud.

+ The web browesing functionality is great, he fact that you can quickly navigate to new pages & zoom in/out allows connectivity on the move. In addition to this, I was able to set up both my work & personal email access within minutes & found it so good I recommended it to an IT Manager who got one too!!

- The battery life, all of the stuff in my good points burns the battery like nothing I have seen before in a mobile phone, come on Apple get it fixed !

The phone is pretty good too!

- camera is very basic with no control over exposure and no flash.

+ Sooooo many. I love the design I love the iPod feature. The camera is fantastic. The extra large screen is a great benifit to me. I am a big fan of the ability to keep all historical text messages from each of my contacts, I've an aargumentative boyfriend so it's great to go back to and 'shut him up'!! Haha

- Difficulty in access emails. When I double tap the screen to open an email I always end up reducing the screen size instead to a less magnified screen which I cannot read. Sometimes my web browser just closes so I end up having to go through the whole process again to get back to my page.

+ I can get my work and private emails when I'm not in the office or at home.
The applications are really useful some of them are just good fun and lots of them are free.
The picture quality on the camera is exceptional.
I'd be lost without it now.

- Battery life isn't great although a lot better after last update. I can't forward texts or send or receive picture messages.

+ Easy to use, great screen display, easy sync with my home pc and laptop brilliant for emailing photo's to my tech department probs solved quicker, easy use where all the hotspots are also wi-fi outstanding. I am very pleased with the overall product.

- don't like how if I use Microsoft exchange I cna't use Mobileme. Also there is no cut and paste - this really needs to be included. Also would like ability to edit documents in the phone i.e. word / excel

+ Superb web-browsing experience. Many useful applications available. Classic Apple Design and very robust.

- No MMS. No zoom on Camera. No video clips on Camera. Lack of Java and Flash a minor nuisance. This is mitigated by the fact BBC iPlayer sends Quicktime video to iPhone.

- Pause music then listen later does not work. Have listening to the same 15 songs on the way to work quite a few times. Itunes software has wiped my music library twice and then cant sync with the iphone so it is back to square one again.

- Battery life very short and sometmes the phone freezes mid call and will not let me hang up so I am still being charged for the call - I then have to reset the phone which takes 5 minutes. Not the quickest phone to use in an emergency.

- Instructions on how to use the phone should be clearer. Navigation around the different functions isn't simple.

+ User interface is excellent. Navigating web pages is very straight forward. There is a large development community creating great free applications. The inclusive data content in the monthly price is great value too. New V2.1 firmware has solved all the other problems I had with the phone.

- Lack of Flash makes some web content unplayable. No cut and paste feature for SMS Email etc.
Biggest bad point is the lack of support for MMS messaging.

+ I like the phone a lot, its pretty easy to use once u get use to it and the internet is really good, plus all the apps u can download are pretty good

- The things i would say are bad, is that u can not bluetooth to other phones only i phones! I have a bluetooth set in my car and it does not pick this up! Also you can not forward text messages onto other people, nor can you receive picture messages very easily without going onto the internet first!
It is rubbish on battery life and i charge it more or less all day and it still doesnt last!

+ Great email facility, good web browser and ability to downloads apps is a bonus.

- Good do with a true mobile phone text program (allowing you to forward etc). Also could do with a cut/copy and paste function like most smart phones and other intelligent phones have built in.

+ Everything that the iPhone does, it does exceptionally well including Push information such as emails, calenders etc. The updates so far have been useful and actually helped the functionality of the iPhone

- You can't transfer files using bluetooth, this has been a pain if i have needed to send contacts etc to someone else. There are limited text functions i.e. If i receive a text from an unknown number, there is no quick way of saving the number, sending to multiple contacts is long winded as you have to select every contact individually. Cannot take videos using the camera...minor thing but could be useful.

+ With the Tuner Apps I can listen to my favourite internet radio from San Francisco in my car

+ this is the rolls royce of the mobile phone world , its a fantastic bit of kit and i would recommend this phone to anybody .

- the only bad point i can find is the lack of a video application on the phone , but who uses the video application on mobile phone anyway

Web browsing is a dream to use compared to my previous windows mobile phone.

- Battery. Being so completely tied to Apple for applications. Lack of sat nav: Google maps is nice but I would like something that gives voice guidance.

- camera has no zoom or video. battery life is too short unless you turn off all the functions but this defeats the point of having them. takes too long to transfer items in I-tunes.

+ The user interface is the most outstanding feature of this phone (I did not have a version1) - it is very good. Everything about owning a phone has been thought of in some detail and you can tell much planning went into the design of the many features.

- Camera needs to be higher-res (3MB shout be enough) with auto-focus and flash. Ability to add memory card would also be nice feature.
