+ very easy to use, have an older version so very similar in use

- this new version is not compatible with docking stations either old or new have been advised there is a technical issue with the most up to date model along with the IPOD touch, only able to charge them via a computer only.

+ everything about this nano is pleasing, it feels good to handle very tactile, small without being miniture or flimsy and a good size screne even for the short sighted.love using it.

- only one bad point, i found sound volume at its loudest not enough for me, although thats an entirely personal choice i like my music loud.the majority of users would probably find it ample.

- apple have changed it slightly from the old ipod which means that the docking station and car kit no longer work which is rather naughty and means you have to update to the new stuff

+ looks great and very compact. Holds a lot of stuff which is great!

- battery life isn't great and sound isn't as good as old nano.

- holds about 0.6 of a GB less than it said on the packet and you don't get a charger with it, which means you have to wait until you go on itunes on your computer to charge it.

- Trying to find a docking station that will also charge the ipod at the same time is proving very difficult as this is still a relatively new ipod design.

Itunes is a great media player on the PC. Much easier than Windows media player.
Its cool.

- Relatively expensive.
You have to download the op manual from Apple website. It should come in book form with the Ipod.

+ my husbands new toy. he loves it. it's easy to use. he is already well into transferring his favourite music onto
it. he's put my old ipod to shame.

+ I haven't yet had much time to explore all the features, but I am sure it will be easy to download music from iTunes. Importing music from my CDs is extremely easy. As this is my first iPod, I managed to download some photos from my computer.

- The screen can be larger. Surely Apple hasn't designed it with just young people in mind!

+ The Ipod is good in its own way and people who buy this prodcut will be able to use it when they are travelling or maybe when they arew working out in the gym. The prodcut is unique and portable.

- I wouldn't say there are any bad points, however I think it was a bit too expensive and the batttery life is less than I thought it would be.

+ It's nice sleek and small. Very handy and comfortable to hold. although it gets a little hot while charging but it seems to be normal.

+ Fit's perfectly in your pocket/bag. Got a few games on to cure boredom. Can store about 2000 songs on it,,i found with the others 1000 songs was not enough! It is a tad expensive but it's worth it for the amount of music/video's/pictures it can hold. And of course the colour is great :)

- Not sure if this is the i-pod or my car stereo but i've had it set up in my car and the sound quality is not as good as you'd get from a cd.

- If you have never had one before you must be told that you need to use itunes on your laptop if you don't do this you will never down load anything

- Personally i think that there is nothing bad about the apple ipod 8gb but i would mention about the battery life as i have to keep charging it up regularly.

- Found it a little confusing starting up as no detailed instructions in pack. Had to search itunes help a couple of times. Have just worked out how to get the album cover art on but even still its not working as I thought it should.

- Setting up is a pain. No instructions and doesn't say anywhere that you need to download Itunes. That would have saved time & effort!!

- Not having the software disc with it and having to sownload the correct software is a bit of a pain plus the real lack of clear instruction on how to set things up. other than that once you get it set up and started its pretty easy to do.

+ I already have an ipod nano. I bought this one as a birthday present for someone. Its compact and holds a large amount of music, videos and films ideal for taking on holiday,walking, jogging and general music enjoyment. Sound is good and picture excellent on videos and movies.Well worth buying.

- A bit fiddly if you have large hands.

- extremely difficult to use when unable to access tunes from itunes. i was unable to reset m ipod when i had problems

+ I pod is so unbelievably small, yet holds so many tracks. Very impressive.

- I Tunes, whilst easy to use, is not user friendly with media player and drag and drop!
