- Very occasionally the track wheel doesn't track, might be to do with the outer case I have though. Having to retain albums on your computer for re-synching each time can be a pain but is a software limitaion rather than hardware.

+ Looks great, Huge 80G hard drive, got my entire music collection on with ease with loads of memory to spare. The colour display is sharp, have downloaded loads of music videos from itunes and they play smoothly and sound great. It's a huge improvement from my 8G nano. Love it!

+ Very easy to use, superb sound quality. Music is available as soon as it's switched on, my old player took a minute or two to boot up.

- None. I can honestly say I have no grumbles with my ipod.

+ You can get the album covers for free from itunes even if you havn't purchased music from the store, you just need to sign up for an account.

+ It was my first introduction to an Ipod or any serious MP3 type device and it goes every with me. Having downloaded my favourite CDs I quickly purchased a docking station and car radio frequency transmitting device so use the Ipod as a very easy to use dukebox in the car and though my sterio system.

- The instructions are on line and some of the help items are a bit hard to find. Had great difficulty in loading up audiobooks into the right catagory and ended up loading as a music CD.

+ Lightweight, easy to use and a good battery life.

- Took a while to sort out how to use it working between the internet site and what I was doing.

+ I am slowly puting all my cds on my ipod. I no longer need to carry cases of discs and alway forgetting one. Now I have my whole music collection on one device.

+ Brilliant i-pod, like the shuffle feature, and it holds loads of music, in fact all my cd's are now on it and quite a few music video's too. The Quiz games are really clever too as it tests your knowledge on your own music library. Really pleased with my purchase and would encourage any other people to get one, its amazing the sound quality and seek time. I have had many mp3 players since they came out and this is by far the best ever.

- I still think they are overpriced but thats apple for you, if you want it you got to pay for it. No other bad points found

- having to use i-tunes is a nightmare

- only problem i have is, it keeps freezes occasionally when i come to put some songs on, i think it might be due to a certain song/video being corrupted

+ Nice design. Easy to use. Has really good memeory space for its size.

- Very rarely freezes and sometimes the scroller doesn't wor aswell as usual. But those bad points are basically because i can't think of any.

- Itunes software isnt too friendly to a new comer and we had a few problems with registration to an extent where we had to get is registered from a friends PC. It would not work from my 2 PC's at home. After no issues.

+ A fantastic piece of kit. Brilliant design, fantastic features and excellent battery life. Plus not to mention the massive range of accessories that you can buy to go along with it. In my opinion the best that you can buy!

- Now for the bad points. Only two and they are pretty minor- the Itunes interface isnt totally user friendly and the volume levelling isnt as good as it could be, i find myself constantly having to alter the volume on my ipod especially when using it in the car. However dont let these minor things put you off.

+ Everything, I couldn't believe that I could get practically all my DVD's and all of music on it. Class pice of kit!

- It would be more helpful to have a more comprehensive manual with the product

+ easy to operate with clear menu featires. Very good indexing process for files and this really makes the product the market leader as you can find a file by many different routes. I like the video presentation and the overlay for podcasts. Looks great esp with griffin case. A brilliant companion.

- Some problems in connecting to itunes which seem to have been solved by fully charging the battery before connecting. Quite bulky compared to some machines.

- needs a protective case to stop the back getting scratched and cover flow is a bit slow.

+ Excellent design,very easy to use, no problems with uploading songs or synching with Itunes library on my PC.Great personalised music quiz. Good value for money compared to other MP3 players on the market.

- The headphopnes that are included are pretty average. It's quite complicated to get video's on to the system.Battery is good but not the 40 hours plus that is claimed.Sometimes the click wheel isn't as presponsive as it could be.

- Supporting software (iTunes) isn't terribly easy to use and it is complicated especially when trying to use with multiple iPODs connected to one PC - and a nightmare to figure out if connecting the same iPod to 2 PC's... Headphones are poor quality audio.

+ I have had the product for a month. Good menu system, battery life, clear screen and slimline design. I am pleased with the product so far.

- Poor instructions with product. Next to useless. Had to ask friends or look on internet for instructions.

+ Its a great gadget that holds just about everything - nice to watch movies anytime, anyplace and likewise with musica and games

- the touch circle is coming away slightly from the pad - hope this is as far as it will get otherwise will have to be asking for an exchange. The battery doesnt last that long for something that holds so much and it takes an age to charge up.

+ Brilliant Memory, It actuali has more memory capacity than my laptop! great graphics, looks good and ver easy to use. also very good screen to watch videos on. easily the best value ipod around. easy 10 out of 10.

- not very good instuctions on how to set up and get started ............. had to get a freiend to put songs on and what not as i wasted half a day trying myself due to no gidance
it would have been very helpful!!!!

- Think I would prefer a straight forward "up and down scroll" rather than moving in a circle.

+ Good easy to read screen comfortable earphones like the large storage for all music video and photo's.

- Did find it hard with the downloading in to play lists.Also would prefere a batter way of scrolling through items

+ Great memory and battery life. Screen is a decent size and picture quality is good.

- Using the main control is quite difficult at times as it will refuse to scroll up or down.
The silver parts of the ipod are never smudge-free unless kept in a case which is fine when listening to music but not when watching tv or films as it warps the view of the screen.

- The transmission on FM is a bit crackly, and the volume is not really high enough.
