+ easy to use - buy ipod speak dock and do away with your stereo. CDs can be stored in loft/sold on one backed up on computer. We brought Apple lead so we could see photographs on our plasma which was really good.

- i had a few teething problems with mine in that it would not turn its self off and would run out of charge in about 4 hours. I was out of the 28 day replacement policy by 1 day so i had to send it off to be repaired. When i sent it to them i had to leave it switched on so the battery run flat. They said they could not find a fault with it - that said it has not happend since so fingers crossed.

+ Design is very good. Easy to use. Good size of memory.

- Ear phones where not much good. Had to purchase some with noise reduction

+ What's not to like about my new Apple Ipod 80gb Black!!!! Sound quality is gr8 specially when partnered with my Klipsch speakers. Two of my best buys ever!!

- Only that if you take albums off Itunes it takes them off the Ipod when syncing.

+ My whole music collection is on this, docking stations in most rooms at home means i can access my music anywhere.

- one thing that could be better is the volume controll when turned down could turn all the way down, but other than that all is great.

+ All that space for all your music,photos and films etc and very easy to use. we use it with a docking station and its great.

- Can't get anywhere near it as my wife is obsessed with it!!!!

+ Smooth finish. Easy to use. Prestige is really obvious and nobody could deny about it. It's also a sort of "dvd player" where you can connect to a tv and watch your movies, not to mention photo slide show in wide screen.

- There could've been some way to manually manage files without the need of computer connection.

+ Storage is excellent. easy to upload to. very good sound quality and easy to use.

- take care when connecting to your pc. if you get the connection the wrong way around it causes the ipod to 'jam', then needs a reset, that can't be too healthly if done too often.

+ Its so small and handy. Great for when travelling as it holds so many movies and songs you can never get bored when you have it!

- When it freezes it takes ages to get going again. But it is understandable when there is so much stored on it.

+ The amount of storage. The way in which you can organise the music and access it through different genres; song title, artist etc. I bought this for the car. it saves me having to lug cd's in and out of the car or worry about having to change the CD.

- Its size is too much for carrying around say at the gym although I use a ipod shuffle for the gym which is just perfect.

+ Looks and plays like a dream. Easy inerface coupled with a sleek black finish, bright, clear graphics and unbelievable sound quality. Overall, I could not be happier with my purchase.

+ It can link up to your PC to include your address book and calendar - as well as having fantastic clarity vids and movies. And because of it's memory size, you have to go some to fill it up.

- It's so fresh and pristine, one finger mark or tiny scratch are noticable.

- Poor quality headphones. No mains battery charger supplied (I assume Apple expect you charge from your pc all them time!).
We found the instructions to be inadequate for connection iTunes etc., especially when trying to set sound levels for recording (apparently this has to be done independently to get good sound level playback, but this is not explained either in the instructions or on iTunes).

- The old ipod problem of not being able to turn the sound up load. the headphones are naf & loose a lot of sound out the back and sides. Take my advice and by this and get some good in ear head phones

+ Massive storage capacity. Battery life. I get 6 hours video and around 35 hours audio. Podcasts, never knew what they were about, now i'm hooked on them. Video quality second to none for size. I've loaded 40 films and 2,500 audio tracks and only half full. Don't be fooled by thinking other makes are as good as ipod. You get what you pay for.

- The size of the classic is quite a lot larger than the nano. It also weighs a lot more. You will need to purchase a travel charger, as you only get a usb charger. You will need to get video conversion software from the net (see google) to transfer video in the correct format to the ipod.

+ very quick start up, and easy to use. sturdy construction and good sound quality...

- earphones could be better and sometimes very sensitive to scratched or dirty cds, ( tracks play ok on the cd and on itunes but skip on ipod. A re-sync cures this.

- The sound quality is okay, but won't make the hair on your neck stand up - this might be due to the budget headphones and not the player. The software that you use to upload your tracks from the PC can take a bit of getting used to - Additional products supplied for use with the IPOD are over priced -

- the fact You have to use apples i tunes even to sort your own cds/ music/video etc onto the system why can they not do a drag and drop like the ARCHOS also when i sat for 4 hours loading in ALL MY MOO into thier own folders it doesnt keep them all in one place ie albums are all kept in the albums folder wheras i like my artists stuff in one folder! i took mine back as it crashed 2 times in one week GET AN ARCHOS SO EASY TO USE VERY STABLE!

- Still quite large compared to other i-pods, but guess thats the technology inside and need to see the screen.

+ EASY TO FIND YOUR FAVOURITE ARTIST OR ALBUM.I USE MINE ON A DOCKING STATION MAINLY AND IT RECHARGES AS IT PLAYS.

+ Fantastic, no problems with it. I wouldnt want to be with out one now, good entertainment if u have to wait around or have a spare few minutes. There is a 'hold' button to ensure it will not turn on and waste battery if stored in a bag. Memory is huge and easy to up load on to from the computer.

- Only bad point is that it does not re-charge when used in a car as an attachment, i did have an older 30Gb and this did. Otherwise really good!

+ Everybody already knows most of them, but for me mostly the handy slim size and cool appearance.

- Can't think of any significant, other than the high price of manufacturer's accessories.

+ Fantastic amount of storage, slim design, and superb battery life when listening to music. Easy to navigate songs quickly with clickwheel and clear, bright screen. Sounds quality very good.

- Terrible battery performance when watching videos. Very basic accessories, e.g. no charger included with box and unbranded chargers don't work (even though they did work with previous ipods). Included headphones not great. Initial firmware was poor and made coverflow unusable but since improved with updates. Photo display software very basic. Poor usb storage capabilities and unable to navigate song structure with windows explorer making it difficult, although not impossible, to copy songs from ipod to another pc.
