+ Love the design. Good quality screen to watch you tube downloads, movies.

- When down loading your own personal cd library, itunes do not automatically pick up the art work. You have to go a round about way to get the art work, which can take longer than the down load of your music

+ Build quality, features, regular software updates adding new functionality, easy of use, very stable software.

- The silver back scratches very easily.

+ I love this ipod, stylish and practical. I can now check my emails without turning on the computer, while listening to my music.

- Hard to find a nice case, but they are out there if you look.

- 2008 Touchs are slightly different and doesnt work with the vast majority of docking stations and non apple chargers. Unfortuantly Apple dont seem to have been that vocal about this and suppliers of such tertiary branded products have a lot of stuff on the market which is not compatible.

- Battery life is not as expected. The loss of the wheel means that fine control for volume level and track manipulation is lost. Lowest volume level when using noise reducing ear bud headphone is too loud!

+ Touch screen works really well. Great for watching movies. Sound quality good. Wifi applications good.

- Bit heavy on the battery when watching movies. Protective case essential.

+ Amazing piece of technology! Very easy to use and very nice to handle. Definately recommended.

- The only problem encountered is that it doesn't want to connect to an encrypted wireless network. I had to remove the security settings before it would connect. But I'm working on it!

- Can be a bit of a nuisance to switch on and off - sometimes it just doesn't want to respond. The battery life can be a bit naff, but I think I might have left it playing by mistake.

+ its the handyest bit of kit you could get youre hands on from the fun apps you can get down to the internet capabilities as long has you have wifi .its a lot quicker than turning on the pc.

- touch screen sometimes a pain with big fingers but can live with that.

- Connectivity when out & about. If I had an Iphone I could use G3 if I couldn't get a connection, & it doesn't have a camera, that would be very helpful.

- wifi connectivity is a bit hit and miss, even on a good connection. Sound quality not as good as my old Sony Ericsson.

- Really does not do anything at all 'out of the box'. The instructions included are almost non-existent, pointing to the Apple website, where it is still not set up in a 'New Users do this first' format, which would be useful. Having said that, once the software was downloaded to the PC and onto the Touch, it was a piece of cake.

+ I love the ipod touch there are so many features and lots of things to keep you entertained. It's not just a music player it is so much more it's the best thing i've bought in a long time and really good value for money.
Ease of use is also a key feature.

- There is nothing bad about the ipod touch.

+ The Ipod Touch is nicely finished and a good size. It's small enough to be portable with a screen that's big enough to be usable. The in-built speaker is handy when viewing video clips with sound. It's easy to control and you can customise the menus. The wi-fi is very usable for both email and web pages (where the zoom feature works really well). The touch screen is very easy and pleasant to use.

- I'd prefer it if I had to put my email password in every time I wanted to access it rather than just during initial set-up - as it is if the Ipod were stolen the thief would have full access to my email.
I'd like it to have an attach point for a wrist strap (like mobile phones).

I can't be without it

- You have to bare in mind the need to use iTunes. If you are just using it for comercial cds it is easy to use. I am using it for non-comercial cds so my unusual needs cause a bit of extra work. Most people would not be bothered. It really is great

+ It looks cool and is an all in one entertainment system, for the everyday traveller.

- No charger bundled with it. 3rd party software need to convert movies to suit. Bundled headphones aren't great. iTunes can be a pain, dragging and dropping would be better, without using iTunes.
