+ Simple phone without all the extra's compact & easy to use

- Apalling signal reception - all I wanted was a simple phone to do exactly what it say's on the tin - PHONE ! however 9 times out of ten it did not have a signal where other people & my old phones recieve one - so despite being everything I wanted in a phone it was absolutely useless, it now sits in a drawer and my sim card is back in an old phone. I would send it back but I cant be bothered with the hassle of doing so.

+ Cheap, easy to use, compact, simple no frills phone

- ring tones a bit tinny, no reminder function - only alarm, can be a bit slow to warm up. But these are minor niggles for a cheap phone

+ It's small, easy to use, and attractive. Tucks easily into a pocket or bag. Good selection of ring tones.

- There's way too many functions. All I've ever wanted from a mobile phone is:
1. Ease of Use.
2. Ability to store 20 numbers in the directory.
3. I can turn it on,dial a number and it rings.
4. That when someone rings me, the phone rings loud enough to hear. Frankly, most people over 40 aren't interested in all the features offered n phones. We don;t use them. We just use them as PHONES. Receive calls, dial calls, store numbers. Thats enough. Even texting - although a great idea - is something most over 40 year olds don't use. They receive them, but rarely send them. If a phone company was to introduce "The Sensible Phone" with very few features at a reasonable price, and market towards older people, they'd have a winner. My son gave me a phone. It plays videos, takes photos, sends and receives emails, scores of things. I hate it, and put it in a drawer and use this one because it's sensible and simple.

+ Small and compact. When closed no buttons on the outer to be activated whilst in a pocket.

- Unable to get a signal whilst on holiday in Norfolk. Especially Elsing and Saxlingham Nethergate.

- The font is so big and the sceern small that you can't see the text messages very well

- The phone is so basic. Sending a text takes forever, so much so, I only use it when I have to which is a waste, as I am on contract with lots of texts available. Making and recieving calls is okay. If you want more than a phone though, I wouldn't bother!
