Hoover HFI 3015 Reviews: Freestanding, 60cm wide, Multi Dishwasher

+ Easy to use and cleans well. Fabulous amount of space.

- Does not dry that well so dishes sometimes come out still covered in drops of water.

+ The machine is relatively silent.

- The drawers are not practical and plates do not sit comfortably in the racks.
The cuttlery tray is too small

+ The Hoover Dishwasher is huge inside and will easily take all pots, plates, pans etc from a full sunday lunch! The machine is triple A rated and the plates and glasses come out sparkiling and dry. I perticularly liked the rear levelling leg which could be altered from the front, ensuring a level machine insitu without too much fuss.

+ Size excellent, noise excellent, spent twice as much on my last one and it wasn't as good.
Only thing I will say, it is only a few months old, so don' really know if it will be reliable ie: needs fixing a lot!

- no fascia for top portion of machine if 3/4 door fitted and no details of how one can be purchased

- unavailable for consideration at time of purchase ..... interior very cheap and vot spacious enough. not enough height for large dinner plates.

+ Low noise, large capacity, very easy to fit door panel, washes quickly and well when the dishwasher tablet is released.

- Small cutlery basket with no obvious location. The dishwasher tablet doesn't always exit, this is definitely due to the small size of the tablet container but also may be due to the new plastic ones that may dissolve and stick to the container, this is a major nuisance.

+ Very quiet, lots of room - all our plates fit in very well. Very dirty pans come out clean on short cycle.

- Not sure how well the plastic bits will stand the test of time.

+ adlustable racks quiet in use

- our cupboard door was awkward to fit

- rather confusing indicators eg P5, 1/2, ?

+ noise level is good, cycle times are good, and you have a salt indicater on this product which in some of other makes did not have for same price. easy to install as well.

+ fairly low noise. Good cleaning. Fitting the unit took a while. Fitting the door took ages.

+ Large capacity to take a full Sunday luch wash including saucepans.

+ Extra Large Storage in bottom tray for big plates, we found that manufacturers quote performance ratings, place settings etc, not whether you can get big plates in, we found ourselves going around stores and measuring with tape measures, the top drawer can slide up increasing space on bottom. This is the biggest 600mm integrated machine out there!

- Not having had an integral dishwasher befor it has taken a while to get used to the fact that it can take a bit of guesswork to see if the cycle has finished. taht said, if you are in the kitchen when the cycle finishes it bleeps at you.

+ Its a much quieter dishwasher than my last one and the rinse cycle is much faster and the 15 serving capacity means that the dishwasher doesn't need to go on as often.

- Loading is different to most dishwashers but if you read the manual the machine becomes very versitile

+ IT HAS DELAY START SO YOU CAN SET IT TO COME ON OVERNIGHT TO SAVE ELECTRICITY, IT CLEANS VERY WELL, BETTER THAN MY LAST DISHWASHER WHICH WAS MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE. IT WAS THE RIGHT PRICE AS WE DID NOT WANT TO SPEND SO MUCH ON AN ITEM THIS TIME.

- internal trays are very ineffective. bowls and small plates will not stand up without touching each other or stopping the rotating arms. there are not enough vertical spikes to support crockery, glasses etc. this shortcoming is so frustrating with this machine it annoys me every time we use it. I really would like to return it and get a better one. our old one of 20 years was far easy to use and stack and get good washing. internal tray design is unknown when purchasing machine yet is fundemaentally important. Disappointing

- Dinner plates do not fit. Had to purchase smaller ones. Very difficult to stack properly.

+ very good capacity, with flexible loading space. it is particularly good for washing up babies' bottles as you can adjust the racking to prevent lids and teats from turning upside down during the wash (using the additional cutlery tray fastened low down on the top rack.

- No quick-wash cycle so we tend to run it during the night; however, it has a very noisy alarm tone and although this can be muted, the instructions for doing so are a little confusing. The user manual is not always written in clear English.

+ quiet - good price

- Took a long time to work out how the controls worked as many of the buttons are dual function - big mistake - you are never sure what you are doing. My 70 year old mother doesn't need the angst. wouldn't recommend on this fault alone. My car stereo has dual function buttons too and they are bloody confusing.

- The main problem with this dishwasher is that it has no proper supports for plates just a wavy bottom basket which isn't sufficient, it makes it difficult to load as they keep falling over, that is with round plates I dont know how it would be with any other shape.
