+ Gets to temp very fast. Very economical on electricity when compared to our previous 5 year old oven. Bakes bread really well and evenly. Simple to operate, providing only the functions that are commonly needed, not cluttered with lots of useless additional functions. Quiet.

- Difficult to keep the oven door only slightly open as there is no fixed position for the door 'ajar'. This is useful when grilling.

Built-in machines have a cabinet door attached to the front of them so that they look like the rest of your kitchen. Freestanding machines can be seen and the machine can be placed in any position in your kitchen.

Conventional ovens heat from the bottom so the top of the oven will be slightly hotter than the bottom. This is useful when you’re cooking lots of different dishes at a time. However, they do take a little longer than fan ovens to heat up. Fan ovens circulate the air so that you get an even temperature throughout the oven. They are quicker to heat up which means they save on energy and time. Multifunction ovens give you the flexibility to use different methods of cooking. They usually have both fan and conventional settings as well as pizza settings that will only cook from the bottom, giving you a crispy pizza, or top-only cooking that is very useful for browning.
Self Cleaning	None
Self-cleaning ovens can come with catalytic liners or pyrolytic programmes. Calalytic liners are the bumpy surfaces which line the inside walls of the oven. They absorb the food and grease and break it down so that the oven is easier to clean. Pyrolytic programmes run for a couple of hours and burn off all the grime in your oven at temperatures up to 500°C. As it gets so hot, the oven door usually locks so that all you need to do is sweep up the ash that’s left over at the end.

The fan gently circulates hot air throughout the oven to give an even temperature, enabling you to cook meals on several levels simultaneously. Ventitherm,delivering all the benefits of hot air cooking without drying the food, sealing in flavours whilst also ensuring that they are not transferred to other dishes. Cooking times are typically reduced by 10 minutes in every hour using VENTITHERM, and it does not require preheating. In addition, the temperature setting can be lowered by 10%, reducing energy consumption.
