- cycles take a long time to dry clothes. Hard to just put items in for a designated time of your own choice.

+ A lot quieter than my old tumble drier.
Easy to operate once you've read the manual.
Very easy to empty the water.
Satisfied with the way the clothes are left upon completion.

Type of Dryer	Condenser
Vented dryers have a hose which transfers the waste, damp air out of the machine and through a hole in the wall or a window to the outside. They are less expensive than condenser machines but the hose means they need to be placed by an outside wall. Condenser machines collect the excess water within the machine which can then be emptied after use. They therefore do not need a hose and can be placed anywhere in the house.
