+ Sleek design. Nice bright screen, evenly lit Selection of ports Reliable Wifi
- Plenty of documentation for Vista, but lack of instruction manual for actual laptop - still don't know what a couple of buttons do, as it's not made clear. Battery life quickly drains even on balanced performance Mouse pad can be annoying sometimes

+ For its price, this has a lot of features and works well at displaying movies in widescreen format whilst downloading from the Internet.
- It refused to boot when a USB hard drive was first attached. Other than that I have had absolutely no problems despite the Advent label having a poor reputation.

+ Good sized screen and it's up and running in no time. setting it up was quick and easy too. the design is good and it's not overly heavy for a laptop of this size.
- battery life is a bit of a pain but other than that no other bad points.

+ easy to use clear screen and responsive this is my first lap top so my comparison is with a standard computer .So good so far.Keyboard is excellentI like the way it is organised.

- i cannot open some software that i used on xp. ie a card making programme, and i cannot find one that has so many different designs, and my mahjong and solitaire cd. roms. Slso serig page plus 10 which i haven't had for long
