+ I am still getting used to using this programme so cannot really comment
- I cannot find many of the elements that are in photoshop 6 and am struggling a bit. A comprehensive manual would assist

+ Easy to load
- The interface with the user is messy, too small and too dark, much preferred the old. The commands /icons have changed for no apparent reason and I wish the older version I had worked with Vista and I would chuck this.

+ Unlike previous versions it copes well with my Olympus RAW files. Having only had experience of Elements version 4 previously it appears to have much the same characteristics but has one or two new features which as yet I have not investigated.
- None found yet but I have yet to find out whether it can cope with "batch" files which version 4 could not do.
