+ Nice and quiet model with no noisy fan distracting me. The interface is better and I would say better than Win2000 or XP.

- The bad points for me are that I did not receive any boolets with the syetem ( Appreciating that it is a recon machine) none the less some instruction would be useful as others in my house are not as computer literate!
Also there is a compatibility issue with my current ISP so I have had to completely change the mode in which I access the internet. This has had financial implications to me.

It is perfect for school work
It had a 30 day trial or nortan anti virus which came in handy
Its a perfect first computer
and its a pretty cheap gift

- It was slow at times but I expected that as it doesnt have much RAM etc
