I BOUGHT THIS LAPTOP AFTER HAVING CARRIED OUT MUCH RESEARCH ON ITS ABILITY TO BE ABLE TO RUN THE LATEST PC GAMES AND IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN CAPABLE TO COPE WITH THE DEMANDS OF A HIGH END PC GAME.THE BUILD QUALITY AND REPUTATION OF AN ACER LAPTOP IS IN NO WAYOVER EXAGERATED IT IS EXCELLENT.THE COMPONETS THAT ARE INSTALLED IN THE ACER 5920G ARE THE BEST FOR THIS PRICE RANGE AND IT DESERVES THE GOLD AWARD IT RECIEVED FROM "WHAT LAPTOP"MAGAZINE.IT MUST BE EASY FOR ANY SALESMAN TO SELL THIS TYPE OF LAPTOP AS IT IS VERY COMPETITIVE AMONGST ITS RIVALS AND AFTER SALES SUPPORT FORM ACER HAVE BEEN QUITE GOOD. OVERALL I WOULD RECCOMEND THIS MODEL OF ACER LAPTOP.

Powerful, cheap and a solid performer - Good graphics make this an ideal desktop replacement
Ran at full speed the battery life can drain significantly

Speed of processing, clarity of screen, volume quality,are all excellent
Glossy finish on casing easily marks, battery life needs extending for wireless use, weight, AC adaptor needed to be replaced after 4 months use and took two weeks to resolve from ACER

DVD /CD reader/writer seems flimsy. Lots of software bundled that I don't want and only has trial version of MS Office.
