+ Nice design, lots of usb ports (which always come in handy), easy to use and setup. Good storage space although it does split it into 2 separate drives. Nice sized screen and colour excellent. Didn't use the free trial of Norton - got bad experience of Norton but instead put another security system on and works well. Not tried webcam yet - don't go onto sites that need it. Good speakers for playing music etc. Not too sure about MS Vista - I'm used to XP so still got to get use to the new system.

- Bit heavy but not got another one to compare against. Also, if playing games and quite a few things happening, processor sometimes cannot keep up and it stalls slightly. Also found it beneficial to buy a usb mouse instead of relying on the touch pad as it can be a bit temperamental. Didn't realise that it didn't come with MS Office programs already installed - gave me a free trial period and then had to purchase after so many days but I just installed my Office XP and it works fine.

+ It was like a new one noboby would know that it was a recon

- I think it would have been better if there was back up disc's to go with the item, But if the Manufacturers do not supply then there is nothing you can do about it,

+ I can sit in my chair and browse instead of having to run upstairs evrytime I want to use the computer (at 70 I dont run - just a figure of speach)

- caps lock is too big and I keep cATCHING IT WHEN i'M TYPING I do find the curser jumps about though when I'm typing and I start a sentence in one place and suddenly find I'm typing in a totally different place. Is this me or is it a general fault with laptops. (this is my first) Doing the back up disk at the start was rather confusing even for my daughter never mind me and semed to take such a long time

+ Bubbly look, Widescreen, geared for multimedia, good screen size

- Like all big-memory lap tops seem to be, it can have trouble loading things quickly, it almost has TOO much memory to cope!
