Easy to use with all latest the bits and pieces.
No real bad points just takes getting used to after a Desk Top.

Screen, good keyboard, ports are nicely laid out, good external volume control & media buttons
Horrible colour inside on bezel & keyboard\surround. Fiddly trackpad, very unpredictable. Norton crap installed - can't find uninstall?

I love this laptop. The picture quality, the sound quality, the feel of the keys on the keyboard, the clearness of the built-in webcam, and the general speed of the computer - all brilliant. The other thing is the great look of the laptop - the blue lights are great (much envied by my friends!), and I love the cream colour of the keyboard and surrounding case. The glass screen and the lid are also gorgeous! I would very much recommend this laptop to anyone.
I would have three comments to make here: (1) the drive space allocated to the D: drive is too small in comparison to the C: drive. I would have preferred less than half of the drive space to have been allocated to the C: drive, and the remainder to the D: drive; (2) The laptop comes with Microsoft Vista Home Premium, which has lots of nice touches MCE etc, but the outline of the empty text boxes are far too pale, making it difficult to see. Also, when highlighting/selecting certain items in a list, it is very unclear which items you have highlighted due to the very pale highlighting. I hope Microsoft will find a fix for this, as I have as yet been unable to find one; (3) the laptop comes with no recovery CD/DVD meaning you have to make your own.

Most things really; a very high quality and feature packed laptop for the price and visually I'd have to say 'wow' - it looks the part. Performance is top notch, and with an Nvidia 8600M inside it plays World of Warcraft with ease and even the latest killer MMO Age of Conan. Impressive!
If I had to make an observation rather than point out a flaw, it would be that with a laptop such as this with a specific graphics adapter inside, it does get a little warm in the top left part of the base. Also it won't win any awards for longevity in the battery stakes due to the extra power being taken by the graphics adapter. However, that's not what this laptop is about and these are very minor quibbles in a stunning piece of equipment for the price.

only used for a few hours before it died so unable to comment too much other than the time I had to use the laptop it was great.
the power pack was DOA and unfortunately you did not have a spare , I contacted Acer direct and I have to arrange to send the old one back before the new one will be sent out so I am unable to use the laptop now as the battery of the laptop is totally dead.

Very fast; good extra keys such as for enabling and disabling wireless lan access, access to email and browser; very clear display; good, easy backup system and choices; Acer Empowering Technology menu bar; lots more keyboard shortcuts through the use of an overlaid keyboard.
Fairly large

Design, good quality webcam, all usb ports and other slots/connections are located on sides or in front (nothing at the back) which is easy access, good quilty sound.
Heavy, poor battery life, Inside colour (off-white/dull gray).....depends on ur taste really!!! but black would have been more tastfull. Ms-office as a trial not the full version.
