The laptop is better than it looks. It may not look the nicest but it is not bad when you see it in real life. Its quick, the web cam is good, etc. All in all it works well and was well worth the money.

Not that many bad points. Some of the buttons at the side of the laptop are touch sensitive and sometimes you accidentally brush over them and go into an application that you didn’t want to. The web cam (which is good quality) is placed where you need to grab to open the laptop. Sometimes I fear that I will break it if I open the laptop too quickly.

a little on the heavy side & the battery life could do with lasting a bit longer but if you use the power save you will get the full 3 hours battery lift but the screen does go darker

Lots of features and a high spec for a good price. No other laptop at this price had this spec CPU, memory, storage and features such as webcam. Bought for my mum.

There is a very sensitive button to the right of the keyboard which launches the CD recording software with just the slightest contact.

The perfect all round laptop. The only let own is battery life which tends to be a bit short side but as I rarely take it out and about it's not an issue. You can't beat it for memory, processing speed or even better movie watching!

very stylish and incredible value for money. screen is very crisp and clear, sound is also pretty good (especially for the money) and the keyboard is easier to use than a lot of other lap tops.

the laptop has a button on the side (shortcut button) which has the symbol for bluetooth, however there is no facilty for bluetooth on the laptop as when you press the button, it comes up "no device". I thought this strange, so checked for software and drivers and there is no such devie on the laptop to facilitate the button. - IN SHORT - IF THE SYSTEM DOESN'T HAVE THE FUNCTION, DON'T HAVE A SHORTCUT BUTTON!!

it has very good performance (very quick even with multiple applications open) It has plenty of memory, the display is very clear and bright and has better picture quality than my desktop PC. The sound quality is awesome for a laptop. I think it looks great too (different to all the other boring grey boxes on the market). Terrific value for money, great laptop for a very reasonable price.

Battery life vaires wildly dependant on what you are doing ranges from an hour to 3 and a half, which is ok.

There aren't many bad points, just that i can't switch on my bluetooth!! but i beleive i need a program which is fine i'll get around to doing it.

I was very impressed with the ACER ASP5920G T5750. The design is fantastic with a beautiful glossy gemstone style casing.It is fantastic value for money,boasting specs that are superior to many more expensive laptops.You have here a laptop which is an ideal home desktop replacement.I would thoroughly recommend this laptop to anybody.

The only negative i can find with the ACER ASP5920G T5750 is that the battery life is a bit on the short side when using some of the more power hungry tasks,but you can switch things like the wi-fi off and reduce the screen brightness to save on power.

Very sleek, light and runs things effortlessly. Great display and keyboard.

The touchpad is a nightmare, its flush with the rest of the laptop and about an inch wider than most, so really takes some getting used to if you've had a different laptop. There's no mute button and on occasion the volume will turn itself up. The casing creaks around the battery light which can be annoying as it does it a lot when typing. The touch buttons on the right are easy to catch, starting off a dvd burning program.

Easy to use with lots of features and up to date software.

Keys are not ergonomic and you can easily catch your fingers under them. I was disspointed with the colour scheme - khaki grey colour looks dirty.

Good size memory for working with Photoshop.

Very clear bright screen. Easily legible keyboard with good size keys. Powerful processor and lots of memory (4Gb) and large hard disc. Qiuck to fire up.

None really so far tho as my last laptop, also an Acer, used XP it's taking a little while to get used to Vista but I think it will be worth the effort.

The design is nice. Performance is great.

Battery life is awful, but then again i guess it's the same for lots of lap tops. The weight of the lap top is immense, it's definately not for carrying about unless you have servants. Sound quality could be a little better.

BATTERY LIFE IN THE USER MANUAL SEEMS A BIT OPTIMISTIC COMPARED TO THE ACTUALITY. BUT THIS MAYBE THE NORM FOR A LAPTOP THIS IS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE OF USING A LAPTOP SO COULD BE AN UNFAIR CRITICISM.

Start up is very fast. Wi-Fi connection was simple. Connection to a 42" LCD TV to watch Blu-Ray makes the purchase worth it just for this.

The laptop and the power unit get VERY warm. Needs more pixels on the built-in webcam. You don't know which version you are buying until you start it. Some have extra power and some have Bluetooth. I was lucky enough to get the power version.

Nice design, quick to log in and start working, good performance and storage space considering the price. It's my first laptop so difficult to compare.

In built speakers are a bit weak, and the keyboard layout means that the caps lock keeps getting knocked on and off as you type.

Very clear bright screen. Copes quickly and well with everyday computing.

Battery life is a bit short but overall very pleased with this product.

Poor instruction manual - very little detail. HDMI connection works automatically for the video component but not for the audio component - I can't find any information in the manual about how to get the sound through the HDMI connection. Very disappointing since an HDMI connection for a Blue Ray player is not much use if it doesn't take the sound as well as the video component. Also no obvious instructions about how to use the integral web cam

I am really pleased with this laptop which I purchased for my uni work. Easy to use and a brilliant screen. I really love the blue casing colour

This is my first laptop and the make was recommended by a friend who has an older model and I have been very pleased with it, I certainly wouldn't want to be without it now. It's lightweight enough to make it easy to travel with and is very responsive to every command and very user friendly.

The battery doesn't quite last the three hours that is advertised and some of the buttons to the side of the keyboard are a little close to the edge when trying to balance the laptop on your lap or other surface which isn't quite flat and I keep opening up the CD maker feature by accident. But these are two very minor points which are certainly outweighed by the good points.

Its a lovely laptop with high specifications. I love the embedded XP which can be used to watch DVD without necessarily booting the actual operating system

Unlike Acer, there are no recovery CDs. Sometimes it gets noisy but my friend who bought the same laptop doesn't have such problem. The laptop could use a longer lasting battery and a slimmer design.

Stylish and sturdy design, with excellent performance. The reconditioned model I purchased was indistinguishable from new and superb value.

It is very fast, and so far not many things have gone wrong. Very big memory and hard disk for the price, excellent value for money. Twice the laptop my brother bought recently for a similar price.

Vista is awful. The CD writer comes on all the time for no reason.

DVD drive caused a lot of trouble - not playing DVDs properly. I have not solved the problem yet but I will.

Reasonable weight. Blu ray works exceptionally well. Fast, responsive. Like the look. Well designed keyboard.

Excellent sound quality. I particularly like the touch-sensitive multimedia buttons. Fast processor and plenty of memory. Clear screen.

It's rather heavy and bulky. The battery lasts for about 1.5 hr (this maybe because it's refurb).

Still not able to play blu ray discs through HD TV. Error code keeps flashing up.

Great value for money with a large hard drive and blu ray player, it is really easy to use and loads programmes very quickly, and it very good quality. I would recommend this to anyone from a first time computer user to advanced users.

Unless you have the screen at a lower level which is harder to see the battery doesn't last very long, and if you are using it to watch a blu ray disk if runs down even quicker.

Heavy (but that's the nature of the beast)

Overall a good machine with most standard features including wireless access for the home and family use. Has a built in webcam to bring closer those distant friends.

Initial start up and self installation took long. Windows Vista - kills performace of computer with a bug ridden operating system, turning a ferrari into a mini for the sake of a few bells and whistles. God knows why they did not install XP as this is now a stable, reliable and mature system with most creases ironed out. Battery life not so long.
